Bill Rawles Classic Cars Description

Bill Rawles has been involved with Classic cars for over 25 years, having founded the largest Austin Healey workshop in Southern England and established the name around the world.

He sold this very successful business (Rawles Motorsport) in 2007 to set up Bill Rawles Classic Cars Ltd, which is a completely new stand alone venture with no connections to the old company. This new venture is based in Four Marks, Alton, Hampshire and caters for all makes of Classics and has Bill firmly at the helm with a wealth of experience, knowledge and strong skill structure. Quality control is of the upmost importance and attention to detail essential.

Some of the services offered by our business include an engineering and machine shop, tig welding, engine and mechanical rebuilds, gearbox and transmission work, restoration and specialised recreations, race and rally car builds, accident repairs (insurance approved), servicing, maintenance and MOT'S, collection and delivery services, car sales (fixed price commission), pre purchase inspections and valuation reports, insurance approved valuers and a network of other specialist trades and parts suppliers.

Bill has also been involved in Historic Motorsport for over 15 years and has campaigned his Austin Healey 3000 to many podium places. The business can also provide Race and Rally preparation and support including transportation to events and circuits.

The aim of our facebook page is to complement our web page, which is the informative front to our business, www. rawlesclassiccars. co. uk
Our facebook page is a bit of fun, providing an insight to our business and life inside and outside of work hours, sharing our love of cars and motorsport, the experiences, places and people it enables us to be exposed to. Hopefully we have created a friendly, welcoming environment where we work with our customers, helping them to get the most out of their classic car so they can enjoy it to its' full potential as we enjoy our own personal cars, whether it be a road, race or rally car! ! ! !

Always feel free to call for an informal chat or send us an email - we look forward to meeting you.

Another of our fast road engines built, installed and tuned ready to go back. Coupled with a negative earth conversion, it has made this Healey the perfect touring or country lane car. This spec includes but is not limited to:- high lift cam, pocketed block, BRCC block porosity kit, aluminium cylinder head, bucket followers, forged pistons and alternator with negative earth conversion.
If you are in need of an engine refresh, don’t hesitate to contact Bill Rawles Classic Cars, 01420 564343 or info@rawlesclassiccars.co.uk available as a full service or in crate form for overseas customers.

There will be many that go for a classic blue and white but it is nice to see something a little bit different... Both painted this month and looking good... One for Bill himself and the other for a customer.

User

Ahhh nothing like a freshly painted BN7. Charlie will be unmasking this morning ready to start fitting up.

Classic Jaguar Magazine - June/July 2019 Edition - Specialist Visit Last month, we had a visit from the editor of the Classic Jaguar magazine, a visit to gather information for an upcoming feature, 'specialist visit'. Take a look at this 5 page feature about our business, what we get up to and some of our history. If you're really interested, you'll be able to find a copy in your local supermarket or newsagents.

How cool is this... today’s collection, Sunbeam Alpine with a genuine 21,000 miles on the clock from new. In remarkable condition overall but having not been used in 5 years, it’s is in for some recommissioning and light restoration whilst preserving this step back in time.
