Great swimming pool with a large water chute/slide. Water maintained at 30 degrees so suitable for young and old. Nice jaquzi on one corner of the pool. Good sized childs splash pool too

poor management. Very untrustworthy. Do not believe anything they say. They will do and say anything to sell you a holiday home and they don't sort problems out. I would look elsewhere persanly

We came here to camp for 2 nights in August. I can definitely say it's the noisiest campsite I've ever stayed in. There were digger trucks driving around all day and also the hovercraft school made it feel like I was on the side of the M1.
The best part were that the toilets and showers were always nice and clean. The indoor pool and water slide is quite nice .
There was also a circus when we were there. The kids liked that.
One major downside of the part is the serious lack of pathways around the site. When you're pushing a pram it means you're dodging traffic and getting on and off pavements. Very annoying!.
We unfortunately won't be back.....which is a shame because we only live 15 miles away.

I'd liken this site to festival camping without the great music to justify having to put up with the poor facilities and hardly any sleep!

We camped at this site for the bank holiday weekend with our two children, brother and sister in law and their family. When we arrived the man at the gate was very pleasant but his directions to the pitch weren't good. We stopped and asked two staff members where the pitch was and they contradicted each other and sent us in different directions! We then asked another staff member who was very rude and abrupt and of the opinion we wanted an argument as soon as we mentioned we had friends joining us. He started ranting about how we couldn't reserve them a pitch and didn't seem bothered that we were a bit lost. In the end we asked another family who were packing up and they confirmed we were in the right place.

We arrived 3 hours before the advertised earliest pitching time thank goodness we did. There were plenty of pitches to chose from but few that our tent would fit on, despite being told that wouldn't be a problem when we booked. It was also very unclear where the pitches started and ended so we just started pitching and hoped we were in the right place. However within an hour the field was packed and new arrivals were struggling to find space.

That night it became clear that the park staff were doing little to make sure the park was safe and pleasant for everyone. The smell of cannabis was obvious and the noise was horrendous. Not only from people having so much to drink (or too much of other substances) screaming, shouting and running between the tents until 2:30am but also from the entertainment venue and fair ground going on until at least 12:30am. Police were also called to break up a fight in one area of the field on the second night. It was literally scary with staff doing nothing about any of the behaviour.

The toilet and shower blocks seemed clean enough but they quickly became unusable due to the actions of others and clearly weren't cleaned often enough for the amount of people using them. The showers were very poor, some just dribbling out of the rose and all were cold by 9:30am.

The field also seemed to have a constant smell of sewage hanging over it and the tractor and sewage removal trailer was constantly at one of the toilet blocks throughout the weekend which didn't help.

We paid for a day swimming pass when we booked the site which was advertised as being usable all day. We were also not told that we had to book for swimming but luckily the family we spoke too when we arrived told us. When we booked we had to wait 2 days to get a slot so in reality we're only able to use the 'day pass' for an hours swimming.

The site is generally very poor and run down and needs a lot of investment to bring up the standard. All in all the worst camping experience we have ever had and we certainly won't be returning.

My brother has moved to Billing recently. I had never been there before. What a surprise, it's great! It has everything for the kids, especially during the holidays. The area is very big. Long walks, bike rides..... A definite 5 star!

Lovely place. Nice residents

Had to be moved to another caravan as 1st moldy. New caravan OK. Park very big

The caravan was not cleaned properly, other people on site had the same experience, I will not be returning for this reason. It's a shame really as all the staff are friendly and it's a nice site. Lost 3 stars because caravan floor had dried up food on it and toilet was still dirty. Sack the cleaner's.
