Bilston Resource Centre (BRC) is a community-based Skills for Life organisation that has been operating in Bilston for almost 30 years.  BRC's overall aim is to support disadvantaged members of the community through our holistic package of services, to improve aspirations and their quality of life, including: Employment and skills support;Pastoral, health and well-being support;Business and enterprise support. All three aspects of these services are bespoke to improve local residents' health, employment and economic prospects. Our team understand the hardships that people can face and how a 'one size fits all' approach may not be suitable for everyone. However, at BRC, the team take the time to listen, understand and work on a one-to-one basis to find the best solution for the needs people and deliver a range of provisions to improve their basic skills. This includes the following: Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) - with qualified advisorsCV and /or covering letter buildingHelp with applying for work onlineEssential digital IT skillsFunctional skills (English and Maths)ESOL (from pre-entry up to entry level 3)Volunteering opportunities and sector-based work-related qualificationsSelf-employment support and guidanceBRC have qualified IAG advisers and have maintained its Matrix accreditation for just over 20 years.
