BioSilta is a privately-held, entrepreneurial company that invented the patented EnBase technology, bringing the founders' in-depth knowledge and experience from the world of large-scale biomolecule production into the research laboratory. It all started in 2004, at the Biocenter at Oulu University in Finland. The company, comprised of a multi-national group of individuals with collectively over 150 years of experience in the biotech industry, is financed by the investment companies, Omega Funds, Inveni Capital and Oulun Seudun Hyvinvointirahasto. Today, the company's customers are found mainly in life science research and BioSilta scientists focus their expertise on expanding the range of game-changing EnPresso growth systems.
