We are looking for a shop assistant and barista to start straight away. Ideally suits someone on their gap year or older who can work 3-5 days a week, including one weekend day . Must be able to drive.
The job will include learning how to make amazing coffee, taking orders and serving in the cafe, slicing charcuterie and selling chunks of cheese. Washing up and clearing down is also part of the job, which our team share throughout the day. There is the added opportunity of waitressing at external events that we cater for some extra hours if wanted.
We are a hardworking fun team and the shop has a great buzz. This job will suit an energetic, smiley food lover who is keen to get some food retail experience.

WoW is all I can say. Went with my husband (American) he was impressed. Got some amazing Black ??? Cheese! Very strong cheddar. We will be going back for more soon. We are not local, but worth the drive. Greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked on us a second time to ensure we were being taken care of. Had breakfast and got some lovely items from the deli. Well worth a visit. If your local, you must support them.

User

This is my 2nd visit as it is my lunch stop on the way to Glastonbury. The food is amazing, it’s fairly expensive but definitely worth the money. Staff are friendly and helpful

User

Startlingly, spankingly good platter of charcouterie. Beautifully presented and each item was of the finest quality. Lovely service too - thanks very much!

User

Popped in for some sausage rolls and cider for my riverside lunch. Great service, fabulous products.

User

Last night had the best Scotch Egg I have ever tasted, courtesy of your farm shop! Thank you. :)

User

Just stopped off here for a coffee & to feed my baby but had a bacon sandwich too and it was delicious. Looks child friendly too with high chairs, toys and kids menu. I shall definitely be coming back to sample some lunch! Lovely service :-)

User

I love it in here! Great tasty food and a good selection of drinks. I would like them to never ever sell out if the Guiness chocolate cake! I missed out on my last visit.

User

Had brunch yesterday the service was really good and the food was amazing, we all had a lovely catch up while my niece played with all the lovely childrens toys. Will defiantly be a monthly meeting point.

User

User

Exelent service, beautiful locally sourced food

My husband and I live up the road and have poped in a few times now

User

Easy to find, easy to park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had cooked breakfast here and was tasty and hot, bought some Black bomber cheese too and it was gorgeous!

User

Dropped in for a slice of the greatest cake in the world, and was told that the Guinness Cake was not quite ready. We were invited to have a delicious cappucino and latté while it was being decorated. We sat by the lovely warm log-burner enjoying the tranquil, family atmosphere, until, as promised, the cake was presented in all of its glory. 2 generous slices were purchased, along with 2 slices of the equally gorgeous-looking Ginger Cake, and they were expertly packed for our supper. The Guinness Cake was moist, luxurious and every bit as delicious as I remember, and we had the Ginger Cake after lunch today. This was also of a world-beating standard. People don't try and bake, do yourselves a massive favour and get along to Bird & Carter Farm Shop, kick back, and eat cake. These folks know what they are doing.

Bird & Carter provided us with food for a retirement party today. Absolutely faultless. From start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Best coffee in Salisbury. The most amazing homemade cakes and lunches, showing how clever and enthusiastic they are, and lovely people. It's great there on a sunny day, or to sit by the fire in the winter or dash in for a coffee on a journey. Would drive a long way to go back there.
