Wonderful food, very attractively presented.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We go there quite often for a meal and like it that there is always plenty of choice for large or small appetites.

There really is nothing I don't like about the Bird in Hand :)

We sat out in the beautiful situated garden area in the sunshine . Very friendly staff. Went back inside for our Sunday Roast Beef , which was super tasty and not too much . Loved that the staff put together a cheeseboard just for us . Super they went that one step further . Shall definitely be back !

We recently moved into the area, thought we would try out our local pub and were not disappointed! Food quality was excellent, service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great, with families, friends and the occasional pet to be seen. Have been back a number of times now....cheers

We have just had a fabulous dinner at the Bird in Hand - great food, friendly staff and simply the best pudding I have ever eaten! Would recommend very highly - and all the party of eight I was with agreed.

We had a fantastic time at our staff xmas dinner which here on Saturday night. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was amazing, it tasted delicious and it was beautifully presented. We were very impressed at the speed 31 plates of food came out! I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to joining them again next Christmas, if not before.

We absolutely loved Bird in Hand. The food was wonderful, I'm a vegetarian and there were really tasty options for me, whilst my mother is a fairly picky meat eater and she really loved the choices too. The decor is really relaxed with clean lines and subtle colors. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Bird in Hand it's our new favorite place to eat!

My mum and I popped in here for a drink at lunch time today. The manager was looking after an elderly lady who had to have the emergency services called out. She'll was so kind and attentive that we felt we had to acknowledge and hope that her employer recognises just how great she is. Well done.

Liked this place the moment I walked in ... tables nicely spaced so you're not on top of the people next door to you. The waitress was excellent - on hand and checking all was ok. The menu was extensive without being too much. And the food was served beautifully. Finally it tasted great!!

I just want to thank you! On sunday we came in on the off chance of getting a table. Managed to get a cosy one in the bar! What an amazing lunch! Supreme of chicken & Roast pork belly! We both blown away by the portions and tastes. I cant wait to come back. Worth every penny!!!

Had a wonderful roast chicken lunch today, the roast potatoes were the best I've ever had in a restaurant, just like I do at home. We all had a different puddings, so we could share, WOW, they were fabulous. Lovely staff, great atmosphere.. we will be back.

Fantastic gastro pub, great atmosphere, attentive & friendly waiting staff. Great menu - was very hard to choose. I decided on a gourmet beef burger, and it did not disappoint. I was impressed that when I placed my order, the waitress let me know that the meat was cooked so it was pink in the middle, I was then able to let her know that I preferred my burger cooked to medium. It was delicious. The puddings were also to die for; I enjoyed profiteroles, and these were served beautifully presented, with a delicious tasting ice cream in the middle and a chocolate truffle on the side. I'll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a late lunch yesterday, food was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the G&T made by Amber, I couldn’t decide what I wanted so told her the flavours I liked.... she told me leave it with her.... it was the best G&T I’ve tasted!

Absolutely fabulous food and staff so attentive. Was visiting family in Southampton and went to a craft session then for lunch. Would certainly recommend - thank you
