Superb pub. Brilliant staff so lovely and friendly will always know someone in there and have a right good laugh. Great for good and atmosphere. Great live entertainment each wknd. A great pub in the heart of the community ���

Sunday lunch was great really enjoyed the food and the price was brilliant we will definitely go back and all the staff are so friendly would definitely recommend it

Not been in for a while, but went for a sunday roast at the weekend and it was amazingly good. Have always liked the Bird, it's always been a friendly place with great entertainment and an electric atmosphere! Going to be coming more often now! ��

No other pub in St. Helens like it great atmosphere great entertainment great food and fantastic landlords les and Paul have made this the heart of the community just like a pub should be xxxx

Ive never had a meal there but go in regularly on a saturday evening. Its always busy and has a great atmosphere as everyone knows each other. The bar staff are very friendly and work hard and the live acts are great too.

I cannot fault it at the Bird ith Hand.I've been quite a few times and it's been fantastic. The pub as a great and welcoming atmosphere and ambience,love the food,the act,the music and the staff are so welcoming and helpful.The hosts are great.We reserved a table because there was a big party of us.Really enjoyable and a fun night out.A brilliant place for a super night out all under one roof.Well done.x.

I absolutely love this pub. Les & Paul have done a great job making it the pub it is today. It's always busy and the bands are great. Had so many fab nights out here. Highly recommended. Get yourselves down there if you've not been yet!! ��

Food was great. Couldn't believe how cheap it was either. 2 Sunday dinners with drinks and a kids meal with a sweet and a drink all for under £14 will definitely be going back. Would recommend it without a doubt

Called in on a whim and had a burger with beef ends oh my gosh it was a delight to eat. Plenty of fries couldt finish them. I Cant wait to come back again x

Called in after a shopping trip and had a ‘bucket’ of scampi and fries £3 was more than enough lovely atmosphere and staff highly recommend a stop off !

Following the news of the lockdown yesterday, we have been talking with the team and with our partners and have decided that we are going to close until this is all sorted.

FA Cup action tonight... Liverpool travel down to the big smoke to take on Frank's Chelsea...after the disappointment of the weekend, Liverpool will be looking to bounce back and keep theirs cup hopes alive in the hunt for glory...chelsea will be looking to pile on more misery on the reds and take advantage of their stutter...lets hope the Reds can get a result and get our name in the hat for the quarters...kick off is at 745pm
