2bees exploring outdoor play. The children expanded their play by developing their physical skills in running safely in their whole foot. The children enjoyed running around the tent.

This afternoon 2bees took part creating various pictures using paint brushes . The activity encourages the children to dip the brush into the paint and onto paper. The activity encourages the children to use their dominant hand.

Busy bees are playing with different transport vehicles in the flour this has developed language skills as the children are thinking of describing words to say how the flour feels.The children have used words such as smooth and soft.One child said "it looks like the snow on my mum's car yesterday".

Busy bees are looking at different transport vehicles and linking the pictures to the words then tracing the word. Some children have shown really good control of the pen and are able to form recognisable letters using dots as a guide.

Today in preschool stingers children have been finishing off their creative junk modelling of an ambulance! Children were encouraged to discuss tools they need to apply the paint, and stick the wheels onto the body of the ambulance! Well done children, it looks fantastic!

This morning some of the Honeybees explored inside our treasure basket. This activity encouraged the children to be independent while exploring different everyday items by themselves from inside our basket and finding different ways to use them.

Yesterday afternoon the Honeybees had fun catching bubbles which took a lot of concentration and hand eye coordination to carefully pop each one. They all gathered around and waited excitedly for the staff member to blow the bubbles and were super excited for a "big one!"

The Bumblebees have been exploring the different methods to make sounds with the different types of musical instrument. The staff then demonstrated how to tap out a simple rhythm to their name and encouraged the children to copy whilst supporting them.

2bees are exploring on the mark making light board. The activity encourages the children to use their dominant hand to hold the tool to create simple marks.

Yesterday 2bees enjoyed exploring with the playdough and washing the babies in the water tray using the sponge. The activity encourages the children to use simple sentences.

Bumblebees children showed good focus as they were engaging at maths activity by recognising numerals. Some children showed the ability to count in a sequence while others skipping a few numbers.

Today in preschool Stingers children were encouraged to describe the different textures of the pastas as they use them to make a skeleton following our doctors theme. Children described the pasta as smooth and bumpy

This morning the honeybees enjoyed dressing up. The children emptied the dressing up clothes and searched for different items of clothing and outfits to try on. Some children had to seek help from staff members and some managed to dress themselves independently.
