Birmingham Centre for Inclusive Living (BCILOur vision is to assist disabled people to live a. Independentlyb. to gain full participation in societyc. to have choice and control over their lives. Using the 12 requirements for Independent living created by disabled people. BCIL is run by disabled people to promote Independent Living. Some of the services we offer: 1. Advocacy when facing with Social Workers or discussing Direct Payments and Indivicual Budget assessments and decisions. 2. Workshops and assistance on finding , employing and monitoring Personal Assistants who can support you in everyday life3. Access to information on all aspects of Independent Living including your rights. We can offer you a volunteer opportunity too. 4. BCIl works with DISPEER a group of disabled people who want to use their skills to develop more independence and get self / employment.
