I love this hospital they were always so nice and professional towards my family and I, I used to attend the Renal Services up until I was about 19 because I have nephritis. I loved my doctor and was very sad when he left to go back to Ireland. It took me quite some time to adjust to another doctor but I had the same nurse so I wasn't as sceptical. I haven't had an issue with the Emergency Department either but they are usually full is all still every time I take a kid to the ED now I wait just a bit other than that no issues with them their staff is friendly and their loos are clean.

I have never been to the Hospital but would like to share a fundraising initiative by Birmingham Children's Hospital charity. The Big Sleuth is a 10-week public art trail of bear sculptures on the streets and public places of the city. I often stopped to take pictures of the bears and got talking to families who walked around the city looking for the bears to tick off on the Big Sleuth app. It seems like a good form of exercise for families and encourages people to be more sociable. Children excitedly explained how the app worked and showed me which bears they had seen or were looking for.

THE VERY VERY VERY BEST HOSPITAL IN BIRMINGHAM AND THE WEST MIDLANDS IT IS A FANTASTIC PLACE TO BRING KIDS HERE

My 9 yr old Daughter was hurt on wed at a trampoline park in birmingham. I took her straight to A&E at heartlands hospital. I was told they could not stitch her lip back together she needed to go to childrens to see a plastic surgeon 😭 The nurse from heartlands rang the childrens hospital and had my Daughter booked in at 7.30 Thurs morning. We arrived at 7.15 by 9.10 she was in theatre 👍What a wonderful job those nurses and doctors do 👍👍👍👍 We are so greatful for what they have done for our Daughter Kacey 👌 She will have a scar for life 😭but the fast action and care she had will never leave my mind. She was taken care of so well by Mr Khurram Khan and his team . 👍👍👍👍👍I wish i knew the Anesatist name 👎 He was wonderful with Kacey 👍 Dora her nurse was wonderful too 👍I hope all of you read the feedback because you deserve the credit for making children not feel scared an trust in you all. It was a horrible time for me and Kacey but you all did a wonderful job and i thank all of you from the bottom of my heart 💕💕 Thank you all you are very special people and i will always be greatful for the care you gave to my little girl 👌👌👌 keep up the good work 👍 Love to you wonderful people ❤️

I have visited Birmingham Children's hospital on three occasions over the last few months. Every time I arrive I look at the ward board to see where I am going and every time a member of staff has asked if they can help me. What amazing staff you have, not only do they look after the patients but the visitors too.

Excellent staff, very professional and great at dealing with kids, for whom this could be a a scary place without the staffs ability to put them at ease. Our 3 month old was very well looked after here.

Friendly staff. Clean. Not overly delayed waiting times. Plenty of books and toys for kids. Lovely atmosphere and bright and friendly decor. Excellent.
