The BCEC is a new 2, 000sqm + dedicated events centre located just a stone's throw from Birmingham New Street Station in the heart of the city. Located over three floors, the BCEC offers a total of 24 flexible event spaces. Our ground and first floor are designed specifically for corporate meetings, training events and executive board meetings, with floor-to-ceiling glass and high-specification technology. The second floor is home to The Mercian, an exceptional ballroom suite accommodating up to 1, 000 guests, attracting a full range of premium conferences, private parties, exhibitions, awards ceremonies and special events. Our dedicated conference centre has state of the art audio visual built in, pre-function space with all-day grab-and-go coffees, teas, juices and premium snacks along with a fabulous lunch menu. The Mercian, accommodating up to 1000 guests, boasts three bars, an entertainment stage, sprung dance floor and a separate reception space overlooking Hill Street. Onsite Venue Hosts offer a dedicated concierge service with fast, free Wi-Fi as standard throughout the space.
