Finally got around to taking a couple of photos today...... Birtley Ruby Red - 7yr old dark chestnut welsh Section B mare. She is by Eyarth Red Pepper out of Llangeitho Petra. She is approx 12.3 but her foal from 2yrs ago is already bigger than her. We left her empty so she is ready to either break or cover. Offers around £475

Empress is a big mare and is approx 13.1 with plenty of bone which she passes on to her foals. Offers around £475.00
Birtley Royal Glance - 5yr old Grey Welsh Section B Mare. She is By Kenwoods Royalist out of Brookhouse Snowflake. Such beautiful old Bloodlines. We have her full sister already in the stud. She is Flu Vacs up to date and was planning on getting her out to some shows. She is ready to either cover or break - offers around £550

Is amazing how quickly our nice green fields have turned to a mud bath over the past couple of days. Spent the afternoon moving ponies to different fields, mixing corn and sorting round bales

A sad day has seen the passing of Kenwoods Royalist(1996 - 2019). He had a special place a Birtley and will always be remembered. Royalist leaves us with some lovely youngstock for the future.

Birtley Royal Grace - lot 380 to be sold on the Sunday at Fayre Oaks next weekend - a couple videos of her moving around the field this afternoon in the comments.

Quick weaning process for us this year as we only had one - Birtley Royal midnight was led, microchipped, marked up, registration posted(on the new wpcs yellow registration form) and weaned all in one day.

Lovely day catching up with friends at Hay sale at Hereford today...... See you all in a couple of weeks at Builth at Fayre Oaks.

Stable door to the corn shed decided it didn't want to hang around anymore - dad put his carpentry skills to good use in the cooler weather this afternoon. Just need to finish the latch and one more hinge
