User

had a meal for four of us last night and it was wonderfull, staff attentive food delicious and Graeme efficient and friendly, I'm so glad of the changes put in place as the last time we were in over 6 months ago it was quite a different story. go team bishops, keep flying the flag for quality at the core

User

When I visited two weeks ago, I said it was the best meal I’d had in a long time... Tonight’s meal was even better! Perfect food and excellent customer service. Thank-you!

User

Thank you to everyone at Bishops of Chapel Street for a lovely birthday meal. Fantastic service from the minute I arrived, excellent selection of drinks, shame the Wherry was off but dad enjoyed his Doombar. Food was beautifuly presented and nice size portions, 3 starters between us was just right and as for the mains I defiantly had food envy when the duck came out, I'll have to come back for that.

Thanks again.

Somewhere nice to go for a drink in Kings Lynn! Last night me and my partner came for a couple of drinks, The people who have taken over have have spent a lot of time and money bringing back to life the old Lattice. And worked really hard to turn it around. Staff were lovely and friendly, the place now has door staff which is a great idea!

We will be back again next week when they start there evening food! We Really enjoyed our night!

User

Love the venue staff are the best they best door staff in kings Lynn and the owner even gave me a tour of the new premises perfect

User

Given that most of the 1 star ratings come from people abusing the review system who havent even gone to the place because they're either too young or too chavvy to be allowed in, I thought I'd join in and give the place a 5 star review and the promise that I look forward to dropping in for a meal very soon without having to put up with a loud generic emo and her support animal snivelling at the bar....

User

Best advice I can give is to ignore the 1* reviews. This pub is truly well worth the 5*’s. Incredible service, top quality food and drinks, superb standards and just what the area needs. Highly recommend.

User

Been a few times now, the food is always very good, the pub has a good atmosphere and a good selection of beers and gin. Great place!

User

Absolutely brilliant. Staff really attentive and efficient. Food is delicious and prices reasonable. A long overdue addition to King's Lynn's restaurant scene. Some other places are going to have to raise their game to get close to this level of quality.

User

A very welcome and different direction for the old Lattice House. Excellent quality food, brilliantly presented and good value. Seafood Chowder was exceptional!

I think this has a great chance of becoming a venue of choice for those more discerning customers wanting a quality adult-focussed bar & restaurant!

User

A really lovely bar, you can see the effort that all the staff have gone to over the last few months to turn it from the slightly run down Lattice House to the new place.

Staff were welcoming and the service was excellent, nice to see a place trying to raise the standards as well, looking forward to returning.

User

Went today for an afternoon drink. Service was absolutely top notch. I wasn’t that hungry so had the pate starter. The pate was lovely but didn’t understand the salad in a twisted wrap. Needed more bread. However the pate was smooth and tasty. Customer service was 5 star.

User

Was looking forward to coming in but the under 23 policy is preposterous. I’m 21 and part of a group of working professionals who enjoy good food and drinks. We don’t want to just get drunk. Seems like we have been tarnished by the same brush. Very disappointed as used to enjoy going into the lattice. Obviously our money isn’t good enough for you

User

Very disappointing... came for Sunday lunch. Whilst I have to say the meat was lovely and the service although slow was good the rest was uneatable all veg rock hard and not a clue what had happened to potatoes it was like they had been popped under grill to brown with cauliflower cheese. Yorkshire Luke warm and rubbery possibly microwaved but not enough lol! Offered to take 1 drink off bill. Ho hum!!

User

Used to begin a night out at The Lattice every week because the prices were good, staff were friendly and the venue was never overly busy like The Globe and The Eagle for example. So you were served quickly and the atmosphere was quiet and chilled.

But my money is no longer good enough as the new company seem to think they are above the younger generation and only older rich snobs are acceptable to drink in their venue.

You've obviously lost my custom....but if someone could please explain how you can have a 23+ age restriction for entry BUT one of your doormen is 20, I would be very grateful to listen. I like him, so it's nothing against him. I'm just confused.

User

Terrible. Tried to get in, in smart shorts and apparently no shorts allowed, yet we went round the corner to the dukes head one of the ‘poshest’ place’s in town and got straight in. What’s the issue with shorts? Your only a back end bar.

User

Ridiculous idea not allowing those under 23 into the pub. Some people only want to come in for a quiet drink and a bite to eat instead of going out to get overly drunk, however it seems this is simply a generic overview of anyone under the age of 23 is too immature to enter.

The likes of the Bank House simply don’t sell shots of alcohol, or alco-pops, yet still don’t have issues with those over 18. It seems it’s selected clientele only, we are in Kings Lynn, not the ritz, don’t tire everybody with the same brush!

User

Really they deserve 0stars but I have to put 1....mid service n we was told to leave because they have a “smart casual” dress code and we had to leave because we were wearing gk bottoms....what happened to the lattice house! We’re not there to pull just to eat!!! But it’s ok for a bloke sitting at the bar with ginger hairy legs n the tightest denim shorts I’ve ever seen a bloke wear airing his bolocks at the bar wearing trainers!!!...... how ridiculous! Now going to Prezzo!

User

Just walked in went to order a drink, got told they cannot serve us! " oh you're wearing trackies, we have a dress code now"... yet there was a guy wearing shorts and trainers with his bollox nearly hanging out at the bar!!! Great way to get new custom in your new business... elsewhere we go, don't have our money!
