Paul listened to our needs and helped us view properties which matched our criteria for moving home. He also supported us to market our house, welcoming buyers for viewings, and maintaining great communication throughout.

Paul was able to provide useful information that helped us understand how the moving process works, and our progress within it - he was always friendly, polite and honest whilst dealing with us, and brought a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Paul was always available when we needed him to answer questions, or to follow up with other parties involved (keeping very flexible hours); he was very responsive as our sale/purchase moved forward, helping us to avoid unnecessary delays.

My partner and I bought a house in York from Paul Atkinson at Bishops in 2021. Our experience with Paul was great. Right from the first viewing, he was very friendly and open, he knew a lot about the house, it was refreshing to have questions answered on the first viewing.
Paul clearly knows the area well and makes good relationships - passers by and neighbours were saying hello to him as we chatted outside the property, our friends also purchased their house from him several years ago and also had complementary things to say.
During the sale Paul was helpful and quick to reply, he helped us to keep the sale moving by communicating with solicitors. Paul was kind enough to pass on contact information for tradespeople he knows, which has been an enormous help in getting our property updated.
