Vortex Sponsorship of CSR League 2018/19
Now midway through the 2018/19 CSR League, the NRA would like to thank Vortex Optics for their generous sponsorship of the new league awards.
Vortex will be awarding Strike Eagle scopes to the Highest Scoring Under 25 and Competitor Who Has Demonstrated The Most Significant Improvement in the Practical Optic and Service Optic classes.
... The Vortex team hope these awards will encourage young and regular shooters to continue to participate in all the league matches and acknowledge and reward commitment and improvement.
The winner of the Competitor Who Has Demonstrated The Most Significant Improvement will be decided by a CSR Committee led by Peter Cottrell, Head of Shooting and Training.

Very accommodating gets better gradually year by year. More practical shooting facilities still needed thou.

There’s a reason Bisley is the national shooting centre.



It’s very well setup, most of the longer ranges use electronic scoring - fantastic! Instant result and easy scoring.



I had a great day out!



My only complain.... you are charged PER PERSON for the use of a lane - if there’s 5 people in your group, all shooting the lane, they charge the full lane fee to EVERYONE! Even tho only one person at a time can actually shoot.



Otherwise a great place for a days shooting, and their training courses are well worth looking at too 👍

Step back in time, buildings and grounds from a time long gone, very helpfull staff, and a fine selection of ranges.

Shooting in the 2017 British 300m Championships. The 300m firing point is a great facility and perfect for shooters who like to stay dry!

On the plus side the new toilet block near Jenny's looks almost complete, but on the downside Jenny's is closing in July and I don't think it's being replaced - this is a major loss in my opinion. There are many other ongoing improvements around the camp which is good to see.

Not only is it a great place to shoot ,but the atmosphere and historic surroundings are worth a look even if your not a shooter ,I have attended Bisley as a club member but this was my first visit on an individual membership,and the staff were very supportive.

Love it ....but this is the wrong one... The correct one is near Pirbright Surrey

It was on the 200 yards. Saturday morning heavy rain and wind. We enjoyed it. Greetings from the Dutch guys. Travalger meeting.

It is the best place to be where dead eyed marksmen do battle. I love Bisley. June/July we are on.

Bisley gets better each year, the staff are friendly & helpful, good facilities & a very pleasant place to be, highly recommended

Best job i had as a teenager and met some great guys..

As always had a great day, looking forward to next Practical Shotgun event there.

Absolutely brilliant. As a total novice I was nervous but my instructor Christine was spot on. Attended as a group of 3 people,all with different levels of experience. She taught us all something and kept it interesting and challenging at the same time. Felt welcome and comfortable and will certainly be back. Thank you!
