Went for lunch had steak for main and merrange desert which was really nice. Great value for money and excellent service would recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised. Popped into Mere Green last minute and managed to get the only free table. We thought the food was good, all had the Prix Fixe early evening two courses for £14.99, which we felt was good value for money. I had the Calamars and Pave de Steak which was cooked just perfect for me - best I have had in a long time. Others in the group had the Pork and Sea Bass, again no complaints and all agreed the food was very nice and we would definitely return. Staff pleasant and friendly.

This was our first visit and it was fabulous.. the staff are very welcoming and polite especially the manageress and the food was amazing.. we will definitely be coming back..

Really enjoyed last Sunday’s meal ordered 3 fixed price meals and 1 a le carte. The food was delicious and washed down by a complimentary house red for my husbands birthday which is a nice touch if you get the app you qualify. Been here lots and never been disappointed.

Lovely place pleasant surroundings and lovely service by pleasant staff.

We had a lovely meal, pork pate to start and Steak fillet for mains. Cooked lovely and very tasty. The beer I tried Gold was great.

Great night New Years Eve 2017, the food was wonderful, best restaurant by far we have used on NYE. Normally they are set menus with not much choice but this was outstanding by far, will defiantly come again. The staff couldn’t of done more and the restaurant was done out lovely, Thank you.

Good atmosphere. Good food. Friendly staff. Drinks a little pricey. I'd recommend going for the set meal deals.

Even though the restaurant was very busy we were served and looked after like we were seated in a much quieter establishment . The food was second to none and very reasonably priced. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you for making our ‘early Mother’s Day‘

When we arrived no one was on front desk to meet us when we were eventually Met by member of staff who was very underdressed for front of house I had prawn starter which was not very good but the main course was excellent duck in cherry sauce with seasonal vegetables our waiter was excellent knowledgable and very helpful the atmosphere was very good and overall we enjoyed our night and will return

First visit yesterday. Service was good, too good at times when our main courses were served before the starters had been finished. The food was good. We all had pork which was nice but a little dry. Will return.

First visit on a busy Saturday night. Excellent choice of food to suit us all. Service excellent, ample portions, reasonably priced, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

Bistrot Pierre at Mere Green is one of my favourite restaurants. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and very good food which is not ridiculously expensive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

It may be a case of because they are in that location n priced the way they are they think it’s acceptable to serve mediocre food and nobody will know but, my starter:



the alleged hollandaise sauce was melted butter, the poached egg was that over cooked it was rubbery but the asparagus was fresh.



as for the seafood main, the fish had a crispy skin n sauce was nice, but the shellfish had that cooked from frozen taste.



Such a shame as the menu has potential but unable to execute to a good standard

Just ate here with some clients, very disappointed. Took ages for drinks to come, had to remind waiters. Food was ok, although again it took ages to come. Staff were not attentive at all. Won't be returning.

I have eaten here many many times but yesterday I was very disappointed. My steak came with the wrong sauce so I sent it back the same piece of steak came back with the garlic sauce scraped off it had been cooked again and came out Black I ate half then told the waitress I couldn’t eat anymore as it tasted burnt she simply said ok and took it away. I didn’t get offered a replacement nor was it taken off my bill. I wasn’t happy at all with the competition at mulberry walk you would think all would be done to keep my custom. I have messaged the branch on Facebook yesterday too and had no response. Not very good customer service at all.

Very poor last night had a bottle of red with our meal and it was full of sediment in the last two glass . Spoke with the manager only to be told that's the way it comes sometimes. I suggest you change your supplier because that's not the way any of my wine comes from anywhere else .

Not impressed. Drinks order wrong. Long waits for food. Pork was almost raw but they tried to tell me it had been cooked for 5 hours. No! It was pink and it was raw ! No intention to return.

Absolutely appauling from the moment we arrived to the moment we left , and to openly broadcast in front of customers about the " free " drink " even though i had quietly gone up to the bar to be discreet. Them to ask us " are we staying or going " when paris ( lovely young girl ) was stood behind him with our starters , when i say starters , we didnt have a lot of choice as everything had sold out which he failed to mention when we sat down and ordered drinks . Im not going to name names but we were there at 6.30 this sunday and i have seen better french from the policeman on allo allo. I wouldnt of been surprised if the manager said his name was renee. On a plus note if its possible , the last few times have been ok but not last night and to offer us free drinks then change his mind was a bit embarassing to say the least , oh and yes we did pay for them and got out as wuick as we could
