This is the best thing to happen to Middlesbrough in a long while! I love France, spend a lot of time there so this place is a dream for me and my hubby. Have had many lovely meals here, food is always stunning and staff are friendly and service is spot on. Everyone I have told to go here has also loved it. Keep up the good work guys its an amazing place

I don't normally review...but have to. Ate here last night...the food was beautiful and I'm fussy. The cocktails were gorgeous and the service was spot on. Salvatore and Ashton (sorry if the names aren't 100% right) were so busy but nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly go back and can't recommend it enough.

Have been twice now and have loved it both times. The one star reviews on here all seem to have come from the same party. The food is lovely, with getting plenty of top ups on water and bread and no delays to our food. I also find the staff very attentive and pleasant, with the atmosphere being spot on. Apologies as I can't remember their names but I have been served by the man from Liverpool and the waitress with the long brown hair and glasses, both times I have been impressed with their lovely customer service, we are made to feel very welcome. The only down side I have heard about this restaurant is a party left without paying the bill recently and this was taken from the staff's tips. As a franchise I am sure the restaurant could cover this without taking from staff. This is disappointing to hear but I will certainly be back.

Had the choice of the lunch menu, food was delicious and hot. Staff were polite and friendly, really got looked after, will definitely recommend and return.

Had a lovely relaxing breakfast beore tackling our shopping trip,had egg benedict for the first time ever and it was delicious and hubby enjojed a cooked breakfast.

We also visited last week for my daughters birthday on a Saturday evening party of eight.Briliant atmosphere and lovely staff and the food was delicious !!!👌Cannot wait to visit again.

Had a lovely light supper that was really tasty. Food was well presented and arrived promptly. The staff were very friendly and made this a very pleasant experience even though I was dining alone.

Food and service excellent,they are so friendly especially the male manager, sorry don't know his name just know hes half Italian, he always goes out of his way and is a credit to the restaurant as are all the staff as service is always really great, value for money for the quality of food also.

Family of four booked for the Mother's Day set menu. The table was ready within a couple of minutes of arriving and staff were attentive but not over baring. We were given the Mother's Day menu and informed that due to demand some of the menu had changed. There was very good choices on all courses and something to fit all tastes. The food arrived swiftly, presentation and taste was very good. We could not fault anything with food or service. Well done to all staff worked very hard to make Mother day a special occasion would defiantly recommend visit.

My only criticism was the lady that took the booking on the phone. She could have been more helpful my son rang to book a table to be told I'm busy seating guests at the moment can you ring back in 30minutes a but off putting if I'm being totally honest.

Just a suggestion take the callers number and ring them back.

We ate at the restaurant on Wed 20th Dec. After we were shown to our seats we were ignored for 25 minutes until I flagged down a waiter who took our drinks & food order. The drinks & starters were fine and the staff attentive but we had to wait an eternity for our main course (which was great once it arrived), a waitress apologised for the delay and said it was down to a large party (30+ guests that were being served). I'd expect the restaurant to be fully staffed so other guests didn't have to suffer due to one large party.

On this occasion I'd probably give the benefit of the doubt to the restaurant and would go back but if the waiting times were the same then that would be the last visit.

Such a shame......Family occassion booking for 6.......not busy .........only a few tables in .....Bastille Day evidently .........the few staff who were on seemed more interested in selfies

Slow unattentive service ..........plates as other times almost lava hot ........indication of not cooked too order ........but just keeping things hot........

You have a very nice Restaurant ..... Decor .....choice of menu......it would be & should be a choice for a treat & or Family occasion..........sadly you a year a bit in you have dropped the Ball

Your standards have dropped to such a level I would not return .........any points I have gained ........I will choose to use else where I will have a better experience ..........your main Restaurant in Nottingham springs to mind

Having met some of the Nottingham Staff at your opening ..........I'm sure they would be interested in your performance

Second visit. Not impressed. Sent meal back. Poor waitress was having a hard time of it. Lovely, polite and exasperated as dealing with some major gripes about food from surrounding tables. Sorry guys. Can’t see us returning. We both had fish as first two choices weren’t available. On a Saturday night that’s pretty poor. Portion of fish was minuscule but flavours ok and on second go at least it was hot. Major disappointment.

I ate here with friends on Wednesday evening. It took 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Starters arrived before drinks did. My friend's fish cakes were only luke warm. Mains were very nice, all cooked well. My friend's ordered pudding, all three crumbles were so cold the ice cream on top didn't even melt. Tables around us remained uncleared all evening. Service was awful with staff openly bikering over us at the table. Before we got the bill I spoke to the man in charge & explained how bad our meal had been. He was very apologetic & did offer a discount on our bill, plus we didn't pay for drinks, desserts, or the cold starter. But some real training needs to be done with the staff. Really disappointed, especially as I'd had a lovely meal here a couple of week's ago.

We pre-booked a meal for lunch time and advised that we only had from 12:45 to 1:30 so the meals needed to be ready ASAP which they agreed would be fine. We arrived at 12:40 and by 1:15 we still hadn’t eaten, 2 people had their starters!! When I questioned it I was told others had also pre-booked. If this is the case why weren’t we advised on booking that they couldn’t accommodate us in the time we needed? When I advised the waiter at 1.05pm we didn’t have much time he went and spoke to someone else who I saw say “what do you want me to do about it?” Customer service at It’s finest!!! This means we have wasted our dinner hour and not eaten! I won’t be coming back!
