fabulous food, ambience and service, we were a large family group aged from 2 to 87, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would recommend it .

What a lovely restaurant. The staff were more than friendly and the food was incredible (i had the steak and it was perfection!!!!) My first experience was an extremely enjoyable one and it will definitely not be my last visit. Would recommend to anyone I speak to. Well done and keep up the awesome service. Thank you.

We visit here at least once a month, great for lunch or dinner. Great wines, nice buzz about the place too.

User

We have just spent 5.5 hours having a great lunch and awesome cocktails with you and the best thing is we get to sit relax and enjoy without pressure from staff so well done once again. ....Will definately be booking for next Christmas too as this is our family tradition day for the ladies in my family x Merry Christmas x

Made our daughters 21st birthday very special.

Also came to the rescue as we couldn’t pick up

her birthday cake due to bad weather. Food was excellent. Even gave us complimentary coffee as it was so cold.

Had a lovely three course lunch here yesterday. Sat outside in the sunshine with a drink. Service was 1st class and food was delicious though not expensive. We were visiting Plymouth for the day from Truro so unfortunately we won't be regulars, which is a shame.

User

Great staff, delicious food and very welcome restaurant.

It was the first time I went there but not the last.

Thank you

Four of us went yesterday for our first visit, lured in by an amazing looking menu. We couldn’t book a table until 9 as the restaurant was fully booked. On arrival it was very busy but the service was excellent the waiting staff must be commended on their hard work, there was no delays or waits and I have to say Lisa was brilliant in looking after us.

The starters, mains and desserts were absolutely delicious and we all can’t wait to go back.

Highly recommended!

Consistently good food and great value for money. Staff are always smiling and friendly.

Just a recommendation we normally eat inside but this weekend as was busy ate outside in the sunshine but it was just too hot to eat with the sun beating down hope you’re able to invest in some more sunshade umbrellas as only 3 for probably 20 tables.

First visit - found it by chance on top ten restaurants in Plymouth. Lunch menu had plenty of choice and very good value. Too full to go for the three courses! Staff very friendly, service was excellent and the restaurant overall had a really good atmosphere. I had a birds eye view of the open kitchen area, which was interesting, and all staff seemed to work well and efficiently. Would recommend it any time - we loved the cocktails, too. The Cosmopolitan was to die for!!!

Arrived at 5-45 for a 6pm booking. Was shown straight to the table as it was quiet and given menus. After 3 or 4 minutes the waitress returned to take the order for food and drinks. Starters were cooked and served and eaten but no sign of the drinks(1pint and a jug of water) even though the bar was empty. Had to ask the waitress for the drinks when starters were cleared and the drinks appeared suddenly. Main course arrived and on clearing the empty plates the wife ordered a dessert. After 15 minutes no sign of the dessert so we asked about it and the waitress went to check only to return and tell her that it hadn't been ordered through the system and would sort it out straight away. Seemed to be a bit of a free for all in the serving stakes as we had a different waitress for each course. I will say though that the food was exceptional as always and all the staff were very nice and we had 4 different staff members serve us.

Went there for Mothers Day disapointed as it seems to be the norm tbese places take the bookings take your money but let you down on what is meant to be a special day

None of us cleared our plates breakfast disapointing

Tea was brought out with no.milk.then no spoons when we asked for sauce a waitress said to ask whoever was looking after our table didnt realise we had someone we had 4 different members of staff bring food out spent a lot of time sat waiting before we caught a member of staff in passing

A group on the next table were complaining as we left

The Greedy Man ' comes to.mind

Not the staffs fault down to management they know its busy by the bookings

It was busy and the service was too slow. At the end we paid and we told them that they forgot to bring dessert.

I had a chicken salad which was 3 pieces of chicken each piece the size of my thumb and the salad arrived after I'd eaten the chicken.

My daughter who is celiac ordered the burger and fries to be told after ordering the burger contained gluten so she agreed on a chicken burger. The burger comprised of a piece of chicken covered in cheese ( which she can't eat) in between two slices of gluten free bread, no even in a proper bap.

My second daughter ordered crepes for dessert or I should say 1/2 a crepe as that's all she was served.

They had no diet soft drinks nor any De-caf beverages.

It's very hot in the restaurant. The staff were very polite. The toilets weren't that good. 2 had no toilet roll in, 1 had no lock and the last one had a broken toilet seat on the floor.

As you may have guessed by now I won't be returning.

Went in for a family breakfast on Sunday after my husband had participated in the Chestnut Appeal swim from Devil's Point. ( Awful weather )

Having dined here before on an evening we were happy to try the breakfast menu. As a family of 5 we were seated quite quickly but found the service a little slow after that point. We ordered hot drinks -the cappuccino was decidedly tepid, however the filter coffee was hot.

I had ordered the English Breakfast ( £7.95) which on the menu stated 'sausages' bacon etc, however I only had one item of each and the portion was decidedly small. Ironically they offer a 'half portion'?? I shudder to think what size that would be.

My husband opted for the spinach and mushroom omelette ( £5.50) again - this was on the small size and the spinach was extremely overdone and stringy..

Eggs benedict were acceptable although the hollandaise was very citrus - not quite to everyone's taste.

Top marks however did go for the Brioche et Champignons ( mushrooms on brioche toast) - whilst it did not look over appetising, I was advised that it tasted good.

Sadly on this occasion I would not rate higher - Evening meals / deals are good but we all agreed we had eaten better breakfasts elsewhere. - Sorry

Have always had a fantastic time here but yesterday we were a bit disappointed. Arrived for 12.30 booking, ordered drinks and food which was fine. After main course we were asked to have our desert in bar area as our table for 6 was needed for another booking. We said we were not willing to move and eventually they came back and apologised and said they had made other arrangements. When our desert arrived, fruit crumble, it was cold at the bottom, so we sent it back. When it returned the crumble top tasted burnt. This was removed from bill . Perhaps it was just one of those days that left us feeling a little disappointed . Generally would highly recommend Le Pierre.

Had my birthday lunch there on the 6th august, service wasn't good,no complimentary bread has it said on the menu, food order was mixed up,food was cold I was very disappointed

My baby is dairy and soya intolerant and I am breastfeeding.

I informed the waitress and she went to check the allergens list for me. She came back and have me a choice of olives or garlic bulb to start and then steak for the main. I was disappointed that they couldn't offer me a variation of any other meal (for example the burger minus the cheese!)

Anyway, I ordered olives and steak. The olives were fine. The steak was so chewy I had jaw ache after a couple of mouthfuls and the chips were too crispy I couldn't even eat them with a fork!

I didn't eat my food and it took about 15 mins for them to even ask if it was ok. The waitress was very polite and said it would be removed from the bill.

I then asked for the garlic bulb as I was very hungry and my partner ordered a pudding. I asked for them to be brought out at the same time. 5 mins after his pudding arrived I enquired about my food.... I am still waiting
