We went on Saturday night with our friends on their recommendation. We were not disappointed, we had the special steak and it was one of the best we’ve had. Definitely be coming back!

We went on Sat night for a friends birthday meal , great place to eat , the staff were fantastic & the food was really good , we were not rushed between courses & all the meals were brought for each of us ( 9 ) together & hot , would recommend to anyone & we will be going back soon

We have eaten here on several occasions and can thoroughly recommend it. The service is always attentive even when really busy, and the food is consistently wonderful.. the last visit was on Weds to the diner et vin menu and again the wine and food were great, and we thought good value.

Visited New Year's Eve - good service, good food and nice atmosphere. Love Bistrot Pierre - only small niggle is the size of the tables for two. Very small so we were moving things around to accommodate glasses etc, then the table was so close to the adjacent table that the waiter had to keep moving our food dishes to get past. I know the restaurant isn't huge but the tables for two do seem to be in random, somewhat awkward locations. Never have problems at all if we visit with friends but it puts us off slightly if there are just the two of us as invariably we get a small, cramped table.

This restaurant is one I've been coming to for years and it never fails on any basis, went with my friend for the two course lunch on Thursday and had a lovely chilled out time.i had the warm salad which was simply amazing and the flavours complimented each other perfectly,my friend had the burger and she said it was the nicest burger she had ever had,then for dessert I had the creme Brulee as it's so good from here.the staff were as always friendly, informative,polite and efficient, the chef was top of his tree as the food was such top quality . I think it was £11.95 for two courses which was amazing value for money , I'll always return here,it's formative just love it xx

The Refurbishment looked amazing! Definitely set the atmosphere for a candle light dinner for two. Had a classic French starter but then went for a Rib eye Steak. The food was great overall and the team at So Stockton Heath Digital Lifestyle Magazine will be visiting again. Great staff too attended to all our needs.

Stopped off for a bit of lunch in Stockton Heath and made our first visit to this busy bistrot. Wow, all I can say is that I was very impressed. The food was so delicious, the service was excellent and there was a lovely ambience. The best meal we’ve had in ages. Value for money too at £13.95 for a 3 course prix fixe menu. Amazing! Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed our dining experience, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the food definitely didn’t disappoint, we celebrated Valentines evening and also have had a Sunday roast dinner which was amazing.

My favourite place... it’s a Bistrot and fantastic value for money. New dishes on the menu and the chicken in lemon, white wine with broad beans was delicious. Great staff too!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past couple of years and I can honestly say I have never had one bad meal! Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff!

I took my Parents for breakfast yesterday as it was my Dad birthday on Friday and with it being Mothers day today I thought I would treat them to the breakfast there. (Their choice, altho I had never had the breakfast there, but have dined there in the past) the service was fantastic, there was a young girl in particular (apologies I didn't get her name, but she had glasses on) who I think was new! She was wonderful, she brought over water which was requested and spilt a bit over the table, she came back and promptly cleaned it up despite us telling her we would do it, she was polite, cheerful and everything you would expect someone to be who is serving you food, we ensured we gave her a good tip as a thank you.The food was amazing, I loved the unlimited tea and coffee, that was a great touch. Everything from the greeting to the service and the food and speed of it arriving and the quality was fantastic. I've registered for the rewards on my phone so will most definitely be back.

I always have beautiful meals here. I had the boeuf bourginon and the meat just fell apart. I couldn't finish it as the portion was huge! or maybe it was because I'd had the chorizo in honey to start �

The restaurant is easily accessible and close to all the village amenities. A nice walk into the village if you want to do a bit of window shopping after your meal, or you can sit outside the Bistrot have a good glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Absolutely delicious breakfast!!

We enjoyed a fantastic meal for 4 last night and will definitely be back. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed their dishes. The only slight negative was that we had a little wait for the bread and water and when the water arrived it was a very small carafe for 4 people to share. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will see you again soon!

The restaurant was full which is always a good sign. Staff were very good, took our drinks order and food orders within minutes of being sat down by Faye. Food was served hot, on hot plates by lovely tall fair haired French speaking waiter. Delicious food. Vegetables cooked to perfection and sea bass delicious as was a steak ordered. Mixture of couples, small and large groups. Very good would recommend. Good price for delicious food.

Had a lunchtime meal here with family on Easter day. Our experience was a Happy one. We all enjoyed our meals and puddings. We enjoyed the French waiter who brought extra French atmosphere to our experince and chat to our table. Very nice.

Visited here this evening it was ok is the kindest review I could give it. The service was lacking but I think this was down to them clearly being understaffed. The starter was lovely no complaints whatsoever but this was where the good food seemed to end. The pork was supposed to be served with a bearnaise sauce - it was more like pork with a blob of scrambled egg on the side - the sauce had clearly split. My partner asked for a different sauce instead so they did take it back and bring it with a red wine sauce instead.The chicken was served with a cold sauce and I needed a steak knife to cook it - thank goodness there was a lot of sauce otherwise I may have choked it was that dry. We both asked for fries with our meals instead of the potatoes advertised - this clearly meant you sacrificed your vegetables as well as when we asked where the veg was they said you don’t get it if you have fries. I did complain and they gave a free desert but as we were on a set menu thing it actually meant we saved a grand total of about £1.50. I always review restaurants and like to think I’m always fair and I often give 4 or 5 stars but I really can’t give this more than 3, sorry

Not everything available on the menu and they’ve stopped selling gluten free. beer. This was the first restaurant in Stockton Heath to offer a comprehensive gluten free menu, which was fabulous for my husband who is coeliac. A few years ago you started charging for gluten free bread and now you’ve stopped selling gluten free beer. Disappointed 😢

Really poor service, breakfast wasn't great, had to ask for things over and over. Disappointed as it was one of my favourite places to go for breakfast

Really disappointed last night, 08/07/17. We had 4 different waiters, waited 30mins for drinks and they didn't come until after starters were served, had to send a starter back, wine got delivered to another table, main courses were ok but side dishes over cooked, were left the dessert menu only to be ignored for the rest of the evening until we asked for the bill and then took it to them to pay! Normally really enjoy it in this restaurant but it went very wrong last night. 😔

My colleagues and I visited on Sunday 10th. I’m vegetarian so ordered the flan. Unfortunately it was burnt so I couldn’t eat it. That was my first visit but probably my last. The staff where friendly on the plus side.

Monday lunch with the girls. Service wasn't great and they weren't busy. Food was average, far better at the one in Altrincham. I don't understand why you can't order a hot drink with skimmed or semi skimmed milk, told by two staff members they only use full fat milk!

In again after a year or so, wine still really sour red and white! Still no draught beers. menu was not fully available but we were uniformed until we ordered. What food was available was good but you can't swap the chips!? 2.5 stars

Camembert starter was delish, however the main Spicy haddock fishcakes were a bit too spicy, it overpowered the taste of the haddock, couldnt taste anything afterwards, mouth was on fire, slow service, understaffed 👎

What a shambles... my sister booked a table as it was her 30th which they knew we were celebrating. They had ran out of a lot on the menu so choices very limited. The potatoes were under cooked and then the general manager started taking plates away while we were still eating. Ordered drinks that never arrived. Then the general manager told us we would have to leave as she had another booking and needed the table. We weren't warned of this when we booked or when we arrived. She was rude and her attitude was disgraceful demanding that we leave but not bringing a card machine... perhaps we should have just left without paying. The hefty bill was paid under the staring eyes of the general manager who was desperate to get us out. Will never ever eat here again. Absolutely pathetic to rush people out after your service being slow and inadequate

I had a meal with friends tonight thought the food and waitress was lovely until I got home and saw that I had been overcharged which I think is absolutely disgusting! If you ever go here whatever you do do not say yes when they ask if you want to pay contactless they will rob you! They will take advantage of the fact you have had a glass of wine and are chatting with friends and basically take as much money off your card as they can!

Here's an idea Bistrot Pierre - if you're going to have pavement tables, how about serving them?

Last week I sat at a pavement table with my dog only to be ignored for 20 minutes, so I gave up and left.

This week, I thought I'd try again.

Sat down at 11:10 and the ignoring commenced once more. However I thought I'd stick it out this time and see just how long it would be before someone bothered to serve me.

At 11:30 a waitress came out to clear tables and actually noticed me! Then she proceeded to tell me that they stop serving breakfast at 11:30 and don't start the lunch service until 12:00 so I couldn't actually get anything to eat despite me having been waiting for 20 minutes!

Are you for real?

I'll go to Piccolino next door next time...
