Evening all,
I was really tempted to do an all out Christmas dinner burrito but I don't think I could've done it alongside all the other menu prep so I might do a dedicated fortnight next crimbo of Christmas 'ritos and nothing else!
Think full Christmas dinner put through the lab on all fronts and then put in a wrap, you guys liking the sound of that?
... Back to to the present, here's another seasonal special that some of you might remember from this time last year! New colour amongst the ranks, everyone meet orange! Roasted butternut squash and chestnuts with saffron infused honey and clementine juice glaze, it's very warming, rich and sweet but still clean as a whistle!
It'll be on for this weekend and the whole of next week until the 22nd which is the last day before the holidays!

Evening all,
This Saturday, the 1st, will be my first ever ever ever daytime opening! I fancied seeing a bit of the sun while I was at work....maybe?
I'm thinking 12ish til 2ish, although as we all know I'm easy like the breezy so if you guys are rushing me off my feet until 2 I'll stay open!
... I'll also be doing Saturday daytimes on the 8th and 22nd of December, hoping to make it a regular thing in the new year, I'll let you show me how much you want it and we'll see if we can't get this going all the time!

Afternoon all,
I knowwwww I knowww it's only November but I have to talk upcoming seasonal opening times!
Straight out of the gates without hanging around I'll be closed this upcoming Wednesday, the 14th, as I'm going to a seminar to learn some stuff about some stuff!
... One door closes and several more open though, in the form of a few daytime openings! Loads of you have been nagging me about it so let's see how it goes huh, I'll be trialling Saturday daytimes in December, the 1st, the 8th and the 22nd, which is also my last day before I close for crimbo, reopening on the Thursday 3rd January 2019!

The sharp cookies amongst you clocked the little logo on my new menu yesterday, it's official, I'm now on Deliveroo!

Time for another surprise! Check out the brand new menu redesign courtesy of Hackney Design!
I love how how he's taken what's in my brain and put his own zing on it! Credit to the man, he only rolled his eyes once when I asked if we could have a rainbow coming out of the box! Have a real read around it to see the depths of the collaboration, we haven't taken it too seriously!

Evening all,
Been busy in the lab! Say hiya to the new sticky ribs! Tried a couple of new techniques, gave the little fellas a sous vide session in the hot tub before they got rubbed all over with a dry rub of mad spices, before being popped in the oven for a real slow roast.
Then it's time for them to get basted in the secret sauce, it's still the same recipe as day 1!
... Tastes good.

Afternoon all,
The sun is shining and it's been a while since I had a chat with you lot! The dust is settling on the big move to Eastbourne, loving where I've landed, Printers Playhouse is such a sweet venue, every time I open my kitchen door there's something different going on!
Little Chelsea and the Grove Road area at large seem to be humming along nicely, shout out to Skylark for keeping it classy over the road, Bottle Grove, Eastbourne for keeping it beery but not leery..., and slightly further afield (only as far as South Street) Urban Ground for keeping chef dosed with caffiene and reinforcing true tenets of great service every time.
Looking forward to getting some serious roots down, and keep an eye out as there's always something new right around the corner!

Those lucky folk following me on instagram are getting eye candy like this all the time so I thought I'd cross platforms for a little sneak peek of a freestyle burrito under construction!
Started off with a spicy rice and melted cheese base, added half and half chicken strips and falafel before slapping on all the extras! Smelt incredible and there's a very happy chappy out there realising he can eat his dreams.
... This is going on all the time, instagram feels more suited to this style of showing you guys what I'm up to so head on over if you're on it and give us a follow and have a rummage through the previous shots!

We had the chicken strips box and a chicken burrito. Both delicious, felt healthy, not greasy and prepared and served really, really well. Would highly recommend and will be popping in this weekend for more.

Visited Dan in the Archway last weekend and ordered 5 burritos which were huge � it was great to have a take out that tasted so fresh and healthy. The pulled pork was my favourite, looking forward to trying a box next. So pleased someone is doing something interesting in Seaford!

Just have to reiterate what people are saying about Bitavita. The man is a culinary genius! We have visited a few times now and we have found our new go to takeaway.

Especially fond of the chicken box with spicy rice, green veg and the wow factor of the radish and red onion. Yum Yum. Having said all that, the Burrito � with coconut, veg, salad and the amazing guacamole is ace. Much love for what your doing Dan.

Just had our first try of this lovely food. We had a burrito and a box. Absolutely delicious the nicest takeaway we have had in a long time. If your thinking of trying it is so worth it! Amazing healthy fresh tasty food!

Just had my first taste of what Bitavita can offer, and I'm utterly bowled over by the size, flavour and 'end-of-meal' full belly and satisfaction.



Went for the 'Double Pulled Pork Burrito', and it was a monster. But given how incredibly hungry I was; easily consumed.



I'll certainly be back, next time to try the 'The Proper Pig Out' for an evening meal.

Had spicy rice and chicken and salad this week with a friend for lunch, all freshly cooked and perfectly seasoned.We took our bento boxes home as the beach was very windy, and enjoyed eating in the garden. Well done for doing something new in Seaford !

Fresh, innovative food that makes you feel good when you eat it. Dan is a great guy and his food is truly excellent.

Delicious food that feels decadent, but is actually very healthy. I like the fact that you can choose your veggies by colour coding - brilliant idea. I just had a chicken bento box with yellow veggies, spicy rice,salsa and sour cream. Sublime!

Dan just cooked me up the MOST almighty fresh, tastiest veggie feast - the best takeaway I've had in a long time!! Burritos, salad, dumplings and wedges were all divine and the portions generous. I loved the various little quotes adorned on all the boxes - such a nice touch :) can't wait to eat at Bitavita again, highly recommend
