BIV Bowes was established in August 1991 and as long as Philip Bowe was an Incorporated Valuer (FSVA) and later a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) the firm undertook volumes of residential and commercial valuations and surveys for High Street and secondary lenders throughout the North East. At the same time, the firm has built an enviable reputation in the fields of rent and lease negotiation, rating appeals and challenges, and Schedules of Dilapidation and Condition. Around £15 million worth of commercial property throughout the UK is entrusted to undertake all rent negotiations and repair notices. Most recently (in February 2018) a lending institution and landlord have jointly instructed Philip Bowe to assume the responsibility for the management of maintenance of a 100-plus residential portfolio.
