A very interesting evening last night at Lytham St Anne's Embroidery Guild. Gill Roberts enlightened us on the history of corsets in her talk 'Corsets Unleashed'. Her corsets, which she had made, were absolutely stunning. Www.belladonna-roses.com
The Embroidery Guild meets at 7.15pm at The Unitarian Church in Andsdell on the third Wednesday of the month. Visitors welcomed.

What a fabulous shop! There is so much to see and buy. If you can't find what you're looking for here you probably won't find it anywhere. Go and pay a visit and say hello to Camilla who is such a lovely friendly person that you will feel you have known her for ages!

This shop is well worth a visit the owners are very helpful and the shop is like an Aladdin's cave, I hope to go back again when I have caught up with my many UFO's.

This shop is an alladins cave to those who do patchwork, sew, knit, crochet, and make all sorts of crafty things. there's a fabulous array of material, yarn, buttons, ribbons, thread etc etc and its the best place to buy a sewing machine too. The new owner has given the place a revamp, its a fabulous place to shop, I'm so glad its close by in St Annes.

This shop is a TARDIS. Sells just about everything you could want. Camille is down to earth and knowledgable- highly recommend x

The new owners are wonderful. Very helpful and understanding when you say how long is this much when holding your hands apart! A warm welcome awaits you. Don't take my word for it go and visit. It's not dark and dingy anymore but full of vibrant new fabrics and wool of good quality and reasonable prices. I no longer travel to Longridge or Milnethorpe for fabric. Keep up the good work

I'm so grateful for Bizzie Fingers. My son passed away 3 months ago. I enquired about getting an angel bear made for my son. She made us an angel bear free of charge out of the kindness of her heart. I'm so grateful. We loved the bear so much we made it a massive feature on his final farewell and now rests on his shelf in his special little corner, thank you so much! Photos are below�
