Moving in to 2019 at Black Dragon Miniatures, we are rolling out a few new programmes…
Firstly, for the duration of 2019, we will be running ladder leagues for Kings of War (2000pts), Warhammer 40,000k (1750pts), Age of Sigmar (2000pts), Kill Team (100pts), Bolt Action (1250pts) and AoS Champions. Anyone can participate in these new ladder leagues, and at the end of the year the players at the top of each ladder will receive a trophy and have their name forever immortalised ...on an in store plaque as well. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page for more details about these leagues appearing soon.
Next up, we’re pushing to get our mailing list populated, this will allow us to update you about in store sales, events and ladder league standings. We promise that we won’t be spamming your inbox every day; we’ll be keeping it to one newsletter per week as a maximum. Finally, after much consideration and soul searching between all of our staff, we are going to be changing the way we utilise our in store gaming space. As of January 2019 we will be charging a nominal fee for use of our gaming tables in store. Our gaming fees will be as follows per person (under 16’s are exempt from this charge).
Peak Time (Thursday 1800-2200 & Saturday 0900-1800) £2 Off Peak (Monday-Friday 1100-1800 & Sunday 1000-1600) £1
This is below current gaming club subscriptions and gaming café charges, and has only been put in place to allow us to continue to offer a gaming space that is available for everyone, as opposed to us working out of a unit and having no gaming community or tournament scene. (Tournament tickets and already paid for campaigns like Mordheim and the current Blood Bowl season will be exempt from these table fees until the new seasons begin)
