OUR GOALS: ORGANISE : Form a new, well-resourced, and strategic organisation to unite Black current and former players and give them a voice. REPRESENT : Future proof women's football by undertaking a similar review of Black representation in the women's game at all tiers. DEVELOP : Develop targeted learning opportunities for Black current and former players, designed by and aimed at, them. CAMPAIGN : The FA's voluntary code on diversity needs to be replaced by a properly monitored and enforced compulsory code developed directly with Black current and former players. Identity: B. A. M. E does not reflect the unique status of Black players in the game on and off the pitch and neither does it help a data driven game like football. We want to encourage greater granularity, transparency and accountability.
