What an amazing night! More Hawthorne Heights next time please!

Went to this in Birmingham at the Asylum a while back. It was a great night. I lost my voice from singing along to nearly every song. Would have expected a bit more MCR being played with being a ‘black parade’ event but I couldn’t complain because the music was exactly what my younger emo self would have loved (and still do). Can’t wait to go to the next one!

User

Best night out for anyone who grew up in the MySpace era!

User

Enjoyed it. But given the name I wanted more My Chem and less numetal.

Still a great throwback night!

Was good but short, kind of expected more for a one off event type of night. Would prefer #Facedown at #Scala to be honest. Get more entertainment and more for your money at the bar and on the stage.

Reasonable night not as good as the first one in Newcastle then then decided to close an hour earlier without any notice. I would have not attended if I had known otherwise.

On July 1st at the Black Parade night in Sheffield I won two tickets to Leeds Fest in the night's raffle but wasn't given the tickets.

Someone else's number was called first and the announcer said "if you don't come up and claim your prize I'm calling up another number", he counted down from 5 and no one came up so he called out another number (which was mine). I ran up to the stage all excited but the announcer was just shaking his head at me. Apparently the person whose number was called out first ran up just as my number was being called but I didn't see them.

The announcer pretty much told me to go away and I said "no, you called my number, this isn't fair" and was then made to wait for about 15 minutes to see the announcer's boss. The boss was straight up rude to me and refused to listen to me, repeating the same sentence over and over again and laughing at me.

The announcer took my name and number and email and promised he'd get in touch with me to "sort something out". This was on the 1st of July and now it's the 10th and no one's even texted me an apology.

Surely calling out a second raffle ticket means the first ticket has been forfeited?? What's the point of calling out a second number if you're just gonna say "oh well ACTUALLY someone else won it so you can bugger off"?? Unprofessional, poorly organised (I've not even mentioned the situation at the bar) and very disappointing. I will not be attending any future Black Parade events and will make sure to warn all my friends not to go either.
