Went to black tulip for my piercings, couldn't be happier and will definitely be returning when I settle my mind on what tattoo to get!

Very impressed with the whole experience! Sophie designed my tattoo and the end result was amazing!! I was very worried that having it done on my foot would be agony, but was pleasantly surprised!! I now have a very beautiful work of art on my foot. Thank you so much! X

The main thing to say about Black Tulip is that the experience was excellent, start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend Caden, he's very calming, artistic, and extremely talented. He made my 3 hour sitting for 2 tattoos a pleasent experience and they look amazing!! All the staff are very welcoming also, I've a feeling i will be back! Thanks again Caden x

I’ve used black tulip for both tattoos and piercings and have been really happy with both. The shop is clean with a great vibe and the staff are all friendly and super talented at what they do! Id definitely recommend to anyone

I had researching about having a daith piercing for relief from migraines that I suffered two or three noticeable to others type ones a week and at least one debilitating a fortnight. So when Friday 13th came around and the offer of getting it done for £13 I took the plunge. I walked and asked if they had space which they did ( I also had convinced my friend to as well) we filled out some paper work then was introduced to Jaz who took us up to the piercing room it was all very clean and calm. Jaz then asked what we were having it done for and I said about the migraines. She then explained the process and what she was going to do before taking out the instruments that were in sealed sterile packets. We lay on the bed and exposed the areas it was cleaned numbed (to what u can) and with deep breaths the pain commenced. I say pain as with any piercing u are going to have some this is cope able though uncomfortable to start. Once the jewellery was in it was a lot more comfortable. Was cleaned up instructed on cleaning procedures and once feeling able was released to go on our own sweet way. I am a quick healer and mine has healed in a week. I have felt the pressure of a migraine start to build a few times in that week but have had it amount to nothing more then a headache that I have been able to leave with out medical intervention. Didn't even touch the paracetamol that's a huge change for me. I am super pleased with the placement of my piercing and the relief it has bought. I am also very pleased with the service and cleanliness my experience at black tulip thank you.

Sophie is amazing her work outstanding. The shop is beautiful and work areas so clean.

Sophie is so friendly and puts you at ease.

I have my next sitting in September to add to the work I had done. So excited to seeing the final piece.

I Had my tattoo completed by Brenn who was absolutely fantastic. From helping with the design he was thoughtful and took his time getting it right and also applying his own unique touch to it. He knew it meant a lot to me and got it spot on. He is fantastic at his craft I was so impressed with the finished tattoo and will definitely be back for more. Black Tulip is relaxed, friendly and I recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Honestly incredible. Such lovely staff and Sophie is an insane tattoo artist. I came in with a right challenge and she aced it.

Have had two tattoos here. The first about 18 months ago with Bren in the old shop and then I visited the new shop last night for a Friday 13th Flash tattoo with Sophie. Couldn’t fault both experiences. Professional, clean and friendly. I now have 7 tattoos and have spent up to 2.5hrs in one sitting in the chair before (sternum work) so I’m no stranger to ink.



However last night, whilst having a small little tattoo in the crook of my forearm I got pretty dizzy and a little sick very quickly which is unlike me. Can only put it down to this summer heat and being 9pm at night. I was embarrassed but honest with Sophie how I felt. She was so, so lovely! I thought I’d have to leave and come back another time but she immediately put a fan blowing on me and fetched me ice water and Lucozade and after a short while I was able to complete the tattoo without a hitch.



Sophie, I can’t thank you enough for your patience and kind demeanour. Love my new little addition! Indie x

Had my nose pierced today, really friendly and helpful staff, was a really quick and clean process and I’m so pleased with how it looks! Definitely recommend coming here for piercings! Thank you x

Had my foot tattooed by Pete and it is amazing yes it definitely hurt but well worth it. So many people have commented on it how good it is and how pretty it is. Definitely be back for more. Jo Walker

Had a tear drop microdermal piercing today and couldn’t believe how gentle the piercer was! Lovely place with lovely people. Definitely recommend!
