What a lovely and special place this is. Just come back from a weekend in the Holicopter. Great place to stay, so well set up and thought out and such fun for the kids too! Checked out the wild camping pitches whist there too - and they look amazing, each pitch unique in it's own way and made to feel like you're truly immersed in nature - which you are, and it's great! The other quirky places to stay looked amazing too, and there is plenty of space between them, so you don't feel cramped or on top of others that are staying there too. Great friendly community feel - definitely tempted to go back and try something else. Those tree houses were pretty amazing too! A place for building some special memories for sure. Thank you!

We just got back from blackberry wood and wow what a hidden treasure! I wanted to do something special for my boyfriends birthday and it didn’t disappoint. I accidentally came across this quirky campsite online and I booked it up without any real second thoughts my partner loves all things helicopters and planes so I decided to choose the “Holicopter” he was gobsmacked and so was I. We couldn’t of asked for better. Also a big thank you to Sharon and husband for their kindness and their welcomings. Nothing was to much of an ask and they have that relaxed vibe to them which made us comfortable also thank you for letting us look round the tree houses higgledy and piggledy they look like something out of a fairytale and so much detail - We are coming back in the summer and will be bringing family to stay in the tree house. Our experience was one of them that we will be talking among our friends and family for a while and it will be remembered for a life time.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay camping at blackberry wood on Sirius pitch. Only booked for 3 nights but wanted to pick my daughter up from her school trip so she could see the site and the people running the site was very helpful in us extending our stay to 5 nights. We will definitely be returning as love the whole camping experience at blackberry. Such a good find. Thank you x

We absolutely love staying at Blackberry Wood Campsite and have been fortunate enough to spend time in both of the amazing tree houses. They are both out of this world; fun, quirky and exciting as well as comfortable and with little surprises around every corner. It is a totally relaxing experience full of wonder and excitement. Eva and Tim and their talented treehouse team members have created something very special indeed that should not be missed. Their treehouses are the perfect places for a special occasion or as a unique treat for someone you care for.

Utterly fantastic place run by very lovely friendly people, just got back from our 1st visit but will definitely not be our last!! Really really beautiful

Three couples with 10 kids in tow ages (4-13). Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Campsite will accommodate your party to fit individual glades with your own fire pit. Weave your way through a warren of pathways passing cute and cosy private tent areas. Adventure playground and fallen trees across a stream surrounded by a sea of bluebells (April) will keep the kids entertained for hours. Had to drag our children back just to feed them. If canvas isn't your bag they had a fantastic array of quirky dwellings including a double decker bus and a helicopter........I kid you not. I have been camping since the age of six and can honestly say this is the best site I have ever been to. The owners have done a brilliant job of creating magically enchanted natural surround which will appeal to kids and adults alike. Tired of camping in rows or in empty fields with no personality? Get yourself down to Blackberry Wood campsite right now. You will not be disappointed.

This is simply the most amazing campsite I have ever been too! It is quirky, so relaxed and laid back. We stayed in the Stonehenge Patch, which was hidden by all the other campers enjoying their stay. The couple who run the site are very welcoming and very keen to ensure you enjoy your time. They provide you with as much information as you require, then leave you to explore and enjoy what they have to offer. Pick your own little individual pitch and then set up your tent, sit back, relax, listening to nothing but the nature around you. I highly recommend buying some logs from the cabin and setting up your own little camp fire, you won't be disappointed! I have come away feeling ultimately relaxed and chilled and can't wait to go back!!!

This is honestly the BEST quirky camp site I’ve ever been to! We stayed in the curvy cabin and it’s was so lovely! The outside space with the fire and seating area. The bed was really comfy too! The staff here are so nice and always happy to chat and help with attractions or just general information. The campsite has a lovely feel to it being very welcoming and peaceful. The wildlife is amazing... Rabbits right up to your door, birds singing all day and squirrels everywhere! There are some lovely walks all around the campsite that lead to some wonderful dream houses- Ridgeview winery is also worth a visit. Thank you for having us!! We can’t wait to return and stay in the tree house �� xx

Stayed in the higgledy treehouse for 2 nights as a treat for me grandchildren aged 7 & 6.

They loved everything about it, from the decking with a fireside we could roast marshmallows to the upstairs bed, they played happily in the wood on the zip line and tyre swing lux enjoyed the nature trail.

Wendy was super helpful.

Stayed in the gypsy caravan for one night as a valentines treat. Amazing place, for the time of year being cold the caravan was provided with heating and even had our own secluded kitchen area for cooking! Was a wonderful experience and the only downside was that we only stayed for one night! Will definitely be returning to try all the different types of accommodation !

Just returned from regular camping here, stayed in a lovely plot, I think its fab the way its all laid out so you get your own personal little space and some privacy. The kids had a total ball, ran about long stop and loved the playground. Also nice and cool in the heat as loads of shade for the tents. Owners were super nice and helpful and all the facilities were lovely and clean. Lots of nice walks to be had (although the public pathways were a bit hard to follow and google maps was definitely needed to see the footpaths). Only slightly niggle was the shower water temp, it was either freezing cold or scalding hot and not much in between. I don't mind a cold shower but my son was very unimpressed!! That said we are already planning our next visit! :)

Just returned from a five night stay here and can honestly say that this really is what camping is all about. Campfires, wooded walks and so peaceful despite it being very busy. Pure escapism.

Just come back from a trip to blackberry wood, we stayed in the helicopter and we absolutely loved it. Our little boy was so excited to be a pilot for the night ��. Couldn't recommend a stay here enough, we will be back to stay again for sure.

I absolutely love it the tree house that my wonderful husband surprise me. My dream is to live in the tree house, I know it's impossible to own one but to be inside the tree house it's so magical like being in a fairy tale movie my dreams come true � I have few friends already ask where is this location......Highly recommended this place.

Had the most amazing stay here with my Labradors for their first time camping. The unique design free hot showers and toilets were immaculately clean as was the washing up area. We loved it so much, we'll deffinately be back again!

Amazing place. A hidden Gem � Loads for kids to do playing around in the countryside to tyre swings and just running around the woods. Well looked after and the wood work is spectacular in the tree house and surrounding builds . Will be back very soon

Amazing campsite with lovely hosts. We stayed in the higgeldy tree house for boyfriend's birthday as a surprise which he loved. Felt very welcomed and nothing was too much to ask. The tree house was so unique and quirky yet everything you needed was in there. Also not too far from Brighton so spent the day there which was a great day out. Would recommend to all friends and family.
