I studied Fine Art at North West Kent College before switching to train in Broadcasting at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, where I specialised in location directing. it was at the tail end of 2013, that I decided to pick up the camera again and start Blackbird Photography.

The idea behind Blackbird is to produce images for people just starting out on their journeys, be that as a model, actor, comedian, or musician etc. or for people who just want images to feel good about themselves. By providing high quality /low cost images I hope to collaborate with people and give them a headstart in what are very competitive areas.

When it comes to Weddings I'm all about capturing moments. My style of Wedding photography is very candid and documentary like. Where possible I try to avoid too many posed pictures - the standard group pics excluded of course! I try and capture the emotion and fun of the day without making myself too much of presence.

I always like to sit down with the couple before a wedding and talk about what they want from their images, plan out what set ups they want at the venue and get them to feel comfortable with me. At the end of the day, I only want the couple to have great images of their special day.

I'm also able to capture images from events such as conferences, gigs, club nights and parties. I can provide corporate headshots /team photos and develop promotional images for your business.
