She founded the network based on the limit on opportunities and senior black professionals within the professional space, so she decided to create her own network, by creating a WhatsApp group to use as a never-ending hiring pool for black professionals. The group now has over 400 members and Alicia aims to grow the opportunities from this network beyond a WhatsApp group chat. The growth of this network has inspired the following offerings to organisations that aim to connect better with black professionals: - Job board - any job posted to our job board will be circulated in our what's app group, newsletters, social media, and text alerts - Partnerships - We will offer a range of options to corporates, creating new opportunities for black professionals - Events - BCC host events both for the black community to connect with each other and for organisations to connect with black professionals - Talent Roster - We are constantly growing the list of black creatives within our network, if you're a black professional sign up to be considered for future opportunities Black Create Connect mission is to: - Increase the amount black hires within organisations at all levels. - Develop and educate Black professionals to senior leadership positions - Create a safe space for black professionals to share experiences, knowledge and grow their own creative contacts - Connect organisations with great black talent in creative ways
