Wonderful park for smaller kids (I‘d say they probably have the most fun till about 12 yo)! We had a great day and our son is still talking about the dinosaurs, the giant whale, the castle, the pirate ships (Brilliant with the water canons on a hot day! I think the parents had even more fun with this than the kids. �), cowboy town and his first visit to a haunted mansion. The only criticism would be the food. The churros were ridiculously expensive, particularly compared to the price for ten mini donuts and the pizza was, frankly, disgusting and definitely not ‚all fresh and healthy‘ as advertised. But the rest was great and we‘ll definitely be back on our next trip to the IoW!

P.S. The online ticket with its discount and the come-back-within-7-days is a fab idea!!

We have been coming to blackgang for the last three years from the moment you open until season ends. (Not forgetting the years I spent at blackgang when growing up!) we visited Thursday for our first time this year and I was really impressed with how the park looked and how things appeared to having been given some TLC. Things had been noticeable painted and tidied up, the dodos are my daughters favourite so we were thrilled to see the massive improvement in that area this year. Yes entry prices are steep, but having an annual pass (which I think are reasonable price) you can go in however many times you want between March and October. And if like us you visit ALL the time, you get more than your money's worth.

The events are a serious plus, and always worth going to.



Keep doing a fab job, the park is looking fab and still lots to do. We will be regular visitors as always!

Seeing as it's my little girls favourite place on the planet. It would be rude not to give it 5 stars. Her best childhood memories are made here. I've taken her everywhere on the island but there's only one place she really wants to go :)

After 30 odd years since I last visited I have to say I was quite impressed with the park. Well maintained and even our 13 year old daughter seemed to enjoy herself - all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The party atmosphere tonight was amazing and we were all very impressed with the fireworks - might not leave it so long between visits � only complaint is the temporary tattoos our children had came off by the evening - which considering the price was really disappointing.

Sorry to say you only get a 3 star rating had a great day there today good to see your still open for business but if you live on the island or on holiday it’s worth the money but if your from the main land with the cost of transportation and the entrance fee the price was over £200 for five of us could of saved over £50 and gone to a much bigger park with more rides and attractions on the mainland I think you should do a single lower entrance fee for one day entrance as your fee includes a return visit within 7 days this is worthless to most people unless they live or on holiday on the island but still a great park for most younger children

Our 3 and 6 year old had a great time, it's been about 25 years since I last visited and there are some very dated themed areas, they could improve on a lot of things just a bit stuck behind the times!

But like I said our 2 loved it and was a good few hours spent.

Love this place but continuing to be disappointed with it year on year as with all the money you clearly make with your high entry prices and high food/gift prices you still don't manage to fix simple things around the park, we visited after u had been shut for 5 months and some of the things that weren't working at the end of the last season Still weren't working when we visited... It's hard to explain to a 4yr old why things aren't working.. But he still loves it but as he gets older I can see that without something more from the park he would maybe not be bothered if we didnt return... Come on blackgang!!

Used to love this place but, like others, I am getting increasingly disappointed.

Over priced (and still rising!)

The whole place could do with a little TLC and 1/2 of the attractions need fixing....even after a year!!!!!

Really sad to see this place going downhill. Starting to think it won't be around too much longer due to being so expensive and the money not being put towards the up keep.

Give it a year and it'll cost myself, my partner and our little boy £60 just to get into the place!!!

Come on blackgang, it takes the mick!

DO NOT GO!

If there was -10 I would rate it that. Very sad to see that with all the money you make the only place you seem to spend it is the gift shop and ice cream shop (Places were you spend more money). Really sad to see everything run down especially with the birthday coming up. Plants were dead, grounds unattended, attractions were closed, other attractions short and not maintained. Considering we paid full price it’s a scam, I was only there for an hour. I would not recommend anyone to visit, nor will I be going back ever.

The only positive were the wonderful views.

My mum made a comment “The car park is more looked after than the park”, how sad is that when it is true.
