It's the bank holiday weekend! Batch Farm cheese are at market tomorrow. We have a few absentees; no Harvest Moon, Seriously Italian, North Sea Seafood, Laycroft poultry and Brocklebys pies. Everyone else is looking forward to seeing you at market on Sunday.
We're back this Sunday and looking forward to seeing you. Alas no Batch Farm or Winterdale cheese this week, but in their place we welcome Quicke's cheese. Delicious, award winning cheese and butter.

Good morning all. We've arrived on site to find engineers working on the railway and occupying most of the carpark. If you're intending to drive to the market today please can you find an alternative place to park. We have asked them to make space for disabled parking bays. Enjoy the market today. Discovery apples are in season!
We've got the BBC at Blackheath this Sunday following Keith Chiltern Farm Food and Peter The Culinary Herb Company from farm to market, for The Farmers Country Showdown. They will want to speak to a few regular shoppers, but it's not obligatory! If you've not see the last series, here's what they did at our Islington farmers market; https://www.bbc.co.uk/…/the-farmers-cou ntry-showdown-series…
This Sunday at the farmers market, please welcome Zinnia plants. They're a Community Enterprise, established to develop social enterprise projects, employment and learning opportunities for people who might otherwise find it difficult to access support and employment. Come and chat to them and give their plants new homes in your gardens and window boxes! https://zinniacommunityenterprise.wordpre ss.com/…/putting-…/

I wish I had known about this wonderful market long before now! A great place to find good wholesome food and a world away from the minefields of faceless supermarkets. Everyone selling their goods are friendly, informative and the standards are very high. A little oasis in a very big desert!
I have been there today, what a lovely atmosphere, lovely people, amazing and very good quality food, everything was great and we will certainly be back! Thanks a lot for the guy who gave my daughter another box of raspberries when her box had fallen off on the floor. Very kind indeed! Also the cheese bread was amazing and the strawberries very sweet, we loved them!
Excellent produce - absolutely love it!
Delicious apples, can't find them anywhere else. My son loves apples and this is just a place to buy them. Love this market, go back almost every Sunday. Good chicken and eggs too. Lovely vegetables and what's best, it's all produced locally!! Fab!!!
Can't wait to go back!!!
Can't rate this market highly enough! Fantastic! :)
Bought some lovely goat meat and cheese!
BUT when I got home with 6 pots of herbs, I found that they were not marked - apart from the thyme and mint, which even I can distinguish - and as I am ignorant, I am left with unknown herbs. I am upset, as I wanted to start using them in their various different ways. If the guy who sells them sees this, please get in touch.
Amazing place in London, loved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
