Blackheath Post Office

Terrible service, long queues and slow workers. 30 min wait just to be told they don't sell envelopes and haven't for the past 2 years! Absolutely useless staff and office.

Disgraceful post office. Despite 2 members of staff always present, there is nearly always only one till open despite massive queues. The second member of staff who isn’t on till duty is in plain sight of all the waiting customers, just pottering around when she should clearly be serving.

They show no urgency and love to have a chat and a joke when they are serving people they know and ignore the fact that there are 10 - 15 people with busy lives queuing and waiting to be served.

This used to be a good post office. The two guys that ran it before were helpful, friendly and efficient. These women running the show now, are clueless and useless.

Despite all that, 2 of them are actually quite friendly. But the older, smaller lady with the glasses is impossibly miserable and rude. I have no idea what her problem is but she really shouldn’t be in a job dealing with people.

I only live a few minutes walk away from this post office, but I prefer to get in my car and drive 15 minutes to another one just so I can avoid this mess of an establishment.

had my parcels "lost" by the creature behind the counter on several occasions, also never encountered such terrible customer service from the ladies and the so called "manager" avoid them like the plague if they even manage to keep their jobs. :-) I MISS CLIVE AND NEIL!!

This is the worst post office I have ever used. Staff look & act unprofessional, both times I have been in this week only one of the counters has been open, even though the other member of staff can see there are a dozen or so people waiting to be served, I will not be using them again, they have no idea of good customer service.

What has happened to the post office? Rude, snipey, dirty, unkempt staff person. More interested in slating men than doing the task. Didn't get the answers to my query as she wasn't really interested in helping.
Retraining, a bar of soap and a toothbrush very much required!

The till system is old and very slow so any transaction takes time which is not the fault of the two ladies that we're there today ,they were extremely helpful and friendly. Makes a nice change to see cheerful staff .

I went in yesterday at 12.15. The woman was using the F word in frustration at a computer screen. I was talking to a customer in the queue and the woman accused me of 'slating her off'. At 12.20 she told customers she would not serve any more people. This person should not be in a customer serving role.

Never had a problem. Apart from from the only place which closes on Thursday afternoons. Bit of a throw back to Colchester in the seventies! Quite nice in a way . . .

The bearded old man behind the counter is very rude and his customer service is of extremely poor standard. I took in some Ebay items that I had prepaid the postage through paypal and he was very aggressive in telling/shouting that I should have purchased postage through him, I reasonably tried to explain to him that I did not have the cash and that it would take too long to access the funds from my paypal a/c to be able to send them on time,hence why I used the paypal postage service. I understand the reason he was annoyed but he should be taking this up with Royal Mail rather than ramming it down the throat of his customers . I now avoid this post office at all costs as he made me feel very awkward and intimidated, it was also very embarrassing as there was a long queue of customers witnessing the whole situation
