Wilkinson tailor's shears have been made in the UK of Sheffield steel since the 1700's. They were appointed Manufactures of Scissors in Ordinary to Queen Victoria in 1840. Serious history. Visited on Good Friday after checking they would be open to avoid a wasted journey. Already have their denim apron purchased from Labour and Wait and very impressed with the quality of that and the workmanship that went into its manufacture. Liked the website and the passion that exudes from it. Was attended to by David who explained the difference between the models and the denims sourced. I thought I was going to buy the NW3 as this is closest to my current Our Legacy jeans which I have been very happy with and thought the slimmer fit ones might feel too restrictive but having tried on the NW3 and the E8, finally settled on the latter. It has the French inside seam, medium rise, Japanese selvedge and just felt better than the NW3. David was very attentive; Ken, the Factory Manager, hemmed them and I walked out very happy.

P.S. The apron has not improved my cooking .... yet!
