Tonight at 9PM we host our very own live Quarantine Quiz.
With all of the squad missing each other dearly recently, it's been decided tonight will be Pub Quiz night, minus the pub but just as much ale!

You may have seen in the news, but Blackpool RUFCs kit supplier O'Neills Sportswear are helping in the crisis by opening their factory and keeping staff in employment, and supplying NHS and hospitals with scrubs, clothing etc instead of continuing manufacturing sports clothing.
Remember these companies and businesses helping the pandemic when the disaster is over

Russ Brennan was a much loved man, not only for our friends at Ormskirk Rugby Club, several current Blackpool payers, but much further afield. Thoughts go out to his family as always, especially today.
If anyone can spare a couple of quid for a great cause, the Anthony Nolan Foundation, it would be really appreciated

This time last year our very own ginger giant Tristan Ainscough got hungry at lunch time and broke all kinds of Strava records to run through many houses to get to the Maccies down the road with a solid 27m 0.48km. The challenge has been set....had anyone ever recorded a slower running time?
Did you enjoy Sunday’s match. The goosebumps never go away when Jonny’s drop goal lands. Today we go back a year to 2002 as England welcomed a rampant All Blacks team to twickers, Jonah Lomu and all. One that Russell T Woodward might not enjoy so much https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5077xJcm qM&feature=share
Here at Blackpool RUFC, were all about socialising as well as rugby. When the proverbial storm has past, be sure to support your local businesses, bars and clubs.
Tonight’s first “Hangouts” evening will be one of many. How are you passing the time and improving your lockdown? Drop a comment below, let’s not all be strangers
Anyone missing rugby? Well we thought we would try and soften the blow by sharing some classic rugby matches for all to enjoy. What better way to start things off than with today’s game and the greatest moment in English Rugby history. England vs Australia, Telstra Stadium, Sydney in the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final. Enjoy.
It is with a heavy heart that Blackpool RUFC have postponed/cancelled their tour to Edinburgh until a later date.
The club have had consecutive tours for the last two seasons, organised fantastically by club vice captain and tour sec Adam Glover.
However, our players and supporters health is the main priority of the club. Thank you for being understanding, watch this space for future tour announcements and a big thanks to Adam for all his efforts
As the coronavirus continues to take its toll on the country, the organisers of the NOWIRUL leagues have announced that all remaining fixtures have been cancelled and that the league table as it stands will be seen as the final standings. This means Blackpool will finish 8th in the division and will remain in Division 3N next season whenever that may commence. We would like to congratulate everyone involved this season and thank our sponsors for your continued support. We would also at this time like to wish our chairman Sean O'brien well with his recovery from a recent heart attack. Hopefully news of the clubs survival, albeit not in the way we were aiming for, will make this a little more comfortable.
The news we all knew was coming but wish wasn’t. Sadly this means Saturday’s game vs Trafford MV will not take place and all training sessions will be postponed until the all clear is given.
Just because the 6 Nations fixtures were postponed today, doesn’t mean that rugby can’t be celebrated in Blackpool
Fantastic 34-12 win away today vs local rivals Fleetwood. Some fantastic performances and a great result.

Fantastic home win today vs Dukinfield. 107-14 and another step closer to remaining in the league. As always a huge thank you to our sponsors, support, and to Dukinfield who stuck at it and played with the correct spirit of the game.
Match report to follow.
Oh, and apparently another game was being played today and they also won which is good too 😂

Tomorrow after a long run of tough away fixture, league action returns to Fleetwood Road as Blackpool welcome Dukinfield RUFC 2s. Kick off is at 3pm and the game will be followed by the Six Nations clash between Wales and England. Come down and support the boy! Bar open from 1pm.
Tonight’s training session is at St Marys School. New to the game, looking to get back into it? Why not come down and meet the lads. 7pm start.
In light of the adverse weather conditions training has been cancelled tonight. The club will be open at the weekend for the Six Nations. Watch this space for further updates.
Have you been watching the Six Nations? Got that rugby bug? Why not join us for training from 7pm tonight and become part of the team. Message us for more details.
Our next fixture sees us travel to promotion-chasing Broughton.
