Absolutely fabulous. Just walked in too late fro Sunday roast. Aw ,No worries says Janet. " Yorkshire Tapas " will be out in a minute ?? So we settle down very nice pub , nice people , enjoyable Beer, out comes Yorkshire Tapas Little Yorkshire puddings filled with beef or chicken and stuffing hot gravy and the BEST roast potatoes I've had in years guess what ,no charge ! Wow ,we will see you on Monday

This is a top pub. There is a great atmosphere with a top beer selection. When in the area, I always drop by for a meal. The food is incredible. I had the pie which had great flavour and plenty of meat.

I ordered by 18 month old mash potato which they bought out with a little spoon ready for him to eat. The staff were very friendly and the gentleman (who I believe was the Chef) was very welcoming and went the extra mile.

There is a nice beer garden here too with plenty of space. A huge car park to the side of the pub means parking is never an issue.

You never leave this place hungry.

I will definitely be back.

Englands finest - and best for beer! Live music once a month, FANTASTIC food (try the mac n' cheese), and above all else...the most welcoming atmosphere you will ever experience. The Joneses are warm and friendly, and will never hesitate to do all they can to make your visit as perfect as possible. Great staff, fab owners, and hilarious hijinks await - plus you can't beat the value for price. Monday night quiz, Tuesday night curry, wed&thurs steak night, fish Friday plus meat raffle, Saturday band nights, and the most brilliant Sunday roast I've ever tasted. Super food in a lovely location. Great staff. Pub itself is beautiful and clean including the loos. Mind your head if your tall though as some doorways are low! But this you will find on a lovely old pub such as this.

Good home cooked food, occasional live music, unusual ales, fantastic views, friendly, atmospheric country pub.

Excellent food, freshly cooked meals. Reasonably priced, would thoroughly recommend.

Just come back from an absolutely fabulous experience in this pub. We came across by accident but had the most friendly helpful staff accommodate our party of 5 and 2 large dogs! The food was excellent the staff lovely couldn't have been more helpful! If only I lived nearer tnis would definitely be my favourite local!
