We were delighted with Blacksmiths Cottage. It is comfortable and spacious with hi spec accessories and facilities. Can't fault either the cottage or Lavenham which is exceptional.
We were especially pleased to be able to bring our dog and enjoy the lovely footpaths round and about. We found she was welcome most places we visited too which really helps.

We had a wonderful stay at Blacksmith’s Cottage. It is perfectly located in the centre of Lavenham, just a stones throw from a selection of beautiful tea rooms and restaurants. Katie was very efficient and ensured everything was ready for our arrival. The house itself is stunning and has been decorated to a high standard. The copper bath tub is a spectacular feature and the exploded beams give a rustic feel. The high quality decoration and finishing touches really make a difference and set this property apart from the rest! The Nespresso coffee machine and prosecco Katie left were perfect finishing touches! I would highly recommend this property.

The cottage is to an extremely high standard and the copper bath is a lovely touch, a real mix of modern and old combined works very well,quality throughout!
The communication from Katie is excellent from booking to arrival.
The welcome basket is a thoughtful idea.
Lavenham is lovely with lots to look at and we ate a lovely meal with great service No10 just next door!

Me and my girlfriend stayed the weekend just gone and had an amazing weekend. The cottage is in a super location right in the middle of the village and the cottage is beautiful. It’s finished to a very high standard and was everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. We will definitely be returning again.
I stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend at the end of July/ start of August for a mini mid-week break for my birthday. The cottage is beyond beautiful - its interior is a mixture of modern and traditional styles and the copper bathtub is the bath of dreams! Katie is a lovely welcoming host, she's happy to help with anything and even provides you with a welcome pack full of delicious treats to start your holiday - it even included a bottle of Prosecco! The cottage is conveniently located just a minutes walk away from the bottom of the high street and there's even a restaurant right next door at number 10! Overall we had a fantastic holiday and can't recommend Blacksmiths Cottage enough, we can't wait to come back!
