We only had a drink but the staff were really friendly and the food looked amazing. We will definately be back!

Tucked away off the beaten track, parking, horse and dog-friendly, beautiful garden with tables outdoors, quaint bar inside, and good pub food and local beer! Highly recommended village pub.

User

The best roast dinner ever and amazing sticky toffee pudding !!

Staff lovely

The best country pub, my daughter hacks there with her horse regularly, they provide hay, water for the dogs, blankets for us if outside and a beautiful open fire and stunning garden, really great food and extremely welcoming, an absolute must!!

User

One of the best roasts I’ve ever had and the staff are are all super friendly. Thanks and we will be back!

Now, I don't want to come across all hand-knitted-sandals and beardy (not least because I have neither) but this is a proper friendly pub with well kept beer and (whilst I didn't eat there) lots of customers looking very pleased with their food.

Plenty of seating inside and out and, if the weather allows you to sit outside there's a lovely view from the garden.

Prices? Didn't notice - there was so much to enjoy.

My friend and I came to you yesterday for the Royal Wedding celebrations and were made to feel so welcome. The hospitality and atmosphere were top class and the live music in the afternoon was brilliant too. We will be back.

Lovely meal for mum in laws birthday. Good service and great food !

User

Lovely inside and out, but the best part is the food and service. They offered to make us individual veggie pies as we had three vegetarians in our party. Wide variety of starters and mains, in a welcoming and warm pub

User

Lovely atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff we will definitely be back again.

I found this lovely countryside pub on internet and was sceptical. First of all to arrive there you drive throughout amazing landscapes. Once there the interior is small but very cosy. The back garden is amazing, food is good and the stuff friendly. Last but not least dogs and muddy shoes are welcome. A little gem!

User

Had lunch here today-a warm welcome and friendly staff. We had the roast lamb & roast beef. Both cooked very well and generous portions. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. There seemed to be a good range of beers too. We will come back soon. Recommend booking a table though as very busy at lunchtime.

User

Had Sunday lunch here today with my partner and two children, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to us. Food was amazing, puddings to die for! Will be back again very soon! Highly recommend!

User

Came across this lovely place on our walk and stopped for a bite to eat. The food was delicious. Staff were really friendly. Very comfy

Amazing Sunday lunch with lots of freshly cooked veg. Good real ale selection.

User

A very welcome watering hole half way round our walk. Delicious open sandwiches, very dog friendly. If you turn up by horse they have fresh hay out the front !

User

A great place for a beer and dog biscuit. A warm friendly pub, we were welcomed in with our 2 dogs to sit and warm by the fire. Even booked our Christmas Date Nite Dinner- thank you

User

Fabulous setting, very pretty country pub. Cosy front section, garden out the back and additional seating on the grass across the small country lane. We had Sunday roast with beef which was perfectly cooked. Great choice of beers - I'd recommend the Little Haka...really lovely. Very good value for money. Good food nicely cooked, served quickly even on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Fabulous!

User

Dog friendly. We may have stepped over the mark by placing a large rug on the corner seating so our dog could "sit up" rather than being on the floor. Lovely food. The large roast beef was large and all good.
