The Award Winning monthly Lavenham Farmers Market will take place on 26th February from 10am to 1pm in Lavenaham Village Hall. Parking in the Village Hall car park. Afterwards why not wander around our beautiful Medeaval village with its antique shops, pubs and restaurants. Make a Day of it
The date for The Hidden Gardens of Lavenham this year is Sunday 11th June from 11am until 5pm There will be lots of beautiful and interesting gardens on show. Blaize House garden along with Blaize Barn and Jasmine Cottage Gardens will be open. There will also be Tea, Cakes and a Bric a Brac stall in Blaize House Garden in aid of NSPCC
We have a very good reaction to the new 50" TV that we have installed in Blaize Barn. it was described by one guest as "a serious bit of kit"
More news for lovers of breakfast. In addition to The Swan and Cafe Nini, we have established that The Greyhound and The Angel are also offering breakfast. Lavenham is morphing into the culinary centre of East Anglia!
There seems to be a competition in the village with restaurants offering a breakfast service. Newly opened Cafe Nini in the High St offers a wide range of breakfast options and The Swan Hotel has recently started offering breakfast to non residents in its Brasserie restaurant ...both well worth trying

Great news regarding restaurants in Lavenham. Yesterday the Greyhound re-opened after a major refurbishment. We are trying it out tonight and will keep you posted. AND ....... the Angel Hotel is also re-opening this week on Thursday evening following the unlamented departure of Marco Pierre-White from the village
