Very helpful, Mr Blanco is always friendly and willing to advise. Koko the African Grey parrot is a character as well!

Live foods (insects) available.
Loads of toys and accessories.
Various foods and seeds and mixes also in store.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable

Not a fan of pet stores at all but always go in and have a look really to make sure there's no suffering animals as I would report the shop. On entering Blancos you get the feeling that that it is crowded with stock etc but looking at the cages and little animals within including the bird room you can see that these are all clean and cared for. We stood and chatted to Mr Blanco for over half hour and he has a heart of gold and you know that he would never let any creature suffer. It was a home from home lovely pet store and beats the likes of pets at home for me. Will be visiting again.

Very friendly plenty of animals to be seen very helpful

We have had a number of birds over the years from Blancos.
They have all gone forward and had a very happy life with us.
We have never had a bird which has been in any way unhealthy.
The shop may appear a little disorganised but they have almost anything you may ask for and if you cannot find it, the staff can.
We are about to return for another bird or birds as all of ours have moved on due to old age.
We would not even think of going anywhere else for our birds.
Blancos have been there for as long as I can remember and that's a long time believe me.
I hope they continue for many years to come.

We rang Blanco's pet shop for some advice. The person we spoke to was helpful & even went as far as ringing us back with extra advice.

But the reason for this review is we then worked out we needed some treatment for the animal & it was 8.00pm on a Saturday with nowhere open.

A quick call to Blanco's & he checked to see if what we needed was available in his shop. It was so he let us collect it from his shop well after opening hours so we could get some treatment to help our pet.

shop staff extremely helpful and friendly, I am a breeder myself with very high standards of maintenance and i have found this shop to be very useful, the birds i purchased from here were healthy and mite free, they had obviously been very well cared for........... thank you for providing a welcoming and useful service.

I got my pet budgie from here and the staff are very kind and I know I am always welcome to go there and ask any questions
