Established in 1969, Bland and Swift Consulting Engineers undertakes works in Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Education and Health Sectors, both under traditional and Design and Build contracts, across the whole of the British Isles.

Established in 1969 as a partnership based in Leeds, Bland and Swift became an incorporated company in 1983; since then Structural Engineering has been at the core of our business which has included a diverse range of projects in many sectors of the industry. We undertake works for Clients in Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Education and Health Sectors; both under traditional and Design and Build contracts across the whole of the British Isles.

Bland and Swift remain an independent consultancy offering a balance of personal service with the office resources to ensure efficient, appropriate and elegant structural designs. Much of our work is repeat business from long established Clients and through recommendation by word of mouth.

Working as part of a Design Team or direct for our Clients, Bland and Swift will always endeavour to provide a quality service based around a close working relationship to understand fully the particular requirements and fulfil the expectations of the Client
