April is Limb Loss Awareness Month and we’re joining forces with LimbPower to celebrate.
As well as raising awareness, the aim is to encourage all amputees and those with limb impairments to get active this month. Whether it’s going for a walk, exercising at home, joining a gym or trying a new sport, this is your chance to challenge yourself!

At the age of 8, Zach Gowen was diagnosed with cancer which led to him having his left leg amputated. As a young boy, Zach would have no idea that a future in professional wrestling awaited him, a sport he’s loved since a very young age. In spite of his circumstance, Zach has reached the heights of the sport including performing on the world stage for WWE.
According to Zach, “Life isn’t about what happens to you. Life is about how you react to what happens.”

Congratulations to our ambassador, Chris, for completing the Surrey Half Marathon. Chris was really happy with his 2hr 6m time, especially with some tough headwinds.

Maisie from West Yorkshire lost both her legs after contracting meningitis when she was a baby. Now Maisie is proving she is a fighter after taking up the martial art, Taekwondo. Here she is on her Mini BladeXT’s!

14-year-old Ellie is quickly becoming the first quadruple amputee in the UK to master snowboarding. Ellie is already a champion para-swimmer but has now set herself new challenges in the world of snowboarding.

8-year-old Daisy was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet one of her heroes, GB gymnast Ellie Downie. Daisy adores gymnastics and enjoys cartwheeling and performing handstands on her Mini BladeXT’s!

11-year-old Darien is super excited about his new Mini BladeXT’s, in particular he's looking forward to running faster than his sister and learning how to skateboard.
We’re proud to have collaborated with Hanger, Inc. in gifting and fitting this incredible young man with a pair of running blades he’s been dreaming of. Darien is looking forward to enjoying life with fewer limitations!
