a great place to stay for a quick getaway from Gatwick! This hotel is the closest you can get a bed to the departure gate....and it helps to beat the rush for the first wave of departures early morning. Clean functional and great service when needed.
We loved our runway view. The room was more spacious than we thought it would be. We did twilight check in so didn't have our cases with us in the room. The shower was fantastic - we are very picky when it comes to showers! Beds were slightly too hard but overall a really great hotel! We are a family of 4- 2 adults, 2 teenagers! We chose an aspire family room.
We had an early morning flight 7am and stayed at BLOC Gatwick Airport with 2 children. Just what we needed for 9 hours to get a quick sleep and refresh. Our room was very compact but everything you would need for a quick stop over, double bed for the adults and bunk beds for the children. Located just next to South Terminal Passport Control entrance, we’d checked our cases in for the flight when we arrived so when we left the hotel at 6am it was ideal. Huge flat screen TV and compact shower wet room. Very modern room would recommend if your flying out of Gatwick early 🛫
We arrived very late well after midnight. The staff met us with a smile and warm greeting . Just two minutes later we were on our way to a clean, quiet and air conditioned room that was a fresh relaxing area. The rain shower rejuvenated my bones. I slept like a rock and was up and away earlier than I wanted. All said the best thing to treat our self to before heading home. Great way to start or end a vacation.🇫🇷🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇭 🐝🤓🤓well done ✅
This was perfect. It’s not a hotel. We parked car. Went to the room to sleep and then get ready to pop down a lift and your in departures. This was first time doing like this. Will always do it that way
Stayed here recently in a Smart Family room with my 2 children. Room had large double bed & bunk beds. Was reminiscent of a ships cabin and did everything we needed however I think had my husband been with us as well the room would have been a bit cramped. Plenty of TV channels, including S4C! The complimentary bottles of water were much appreciated after a long journey. Control tablet was fab although the "checkout" function didn't work when we were leaving. All in all a pleasant stay, would definitely stay again and will be recommending to others.
Location is brilliant! Room was sound proof and perfect for just me. Loved the window overlooking the runway. My one complaint was the counter space in the bathroom, but for its purpose it was manageable.
I think this place is great.
The room is a decent size and although I was on my own, I think it's plenty big enough for two (twin bunk room).
Check in was easy, modern facilities, TV with a good amount of channels, full wet room, touch screen controls for lighting and air con.
I would stay again if I was flying outta Gatwick and recommend it as an easy night before a long flight.
Had a great experience, our room was just what was needed and had a massive window over looking the airport. Perfect for staying over at Gatwick as so convenient. Will definitely use again and recommend.
Great value for an overnight stay and very quiet considering you can see the Gatwick runway from the bedroom window. We upgraded to the larger room which was only slightly more expensive and found this to be very adequate before our early morning flight.
Cannot fault this place we had a room with a window view of the runway pretty much sound proof glass it magnificent watching the planes come in at night a truly great experience will defiantly choose this hotel again
We had an early morning flight...it was convinient and the room was clean compact and tidy..defo would do it again.
Taken aback with the imaginative use of space but the bed was comfortable, room very clean and modern, great view of ✈️ coming in, ambient lighting and fantastic location for a 6:00am flight. Made our travel experience so stress free. 👏👏
Location is 5/5, cleanliness is 5/5 and staff were also 5/5. If your on your own, or used to small spaces this is going to be just fine for you. But if your used to some space, a couple both trying to get ready or one person is not able to climb across the bed and other person sleeping, this night not be your choice.
My wife and I found it difficult to get ready as there is very little room to maneuver, but the hotel advertises this is a compact room so it shouldn’t be a shock when you arrive.
The wet room / bathroom is a neat experience. The toilet, sink and shower are in the same area so you can sit on the toilet and have a shower if you like. Great for shaving legs, cleaning your feet etc. they had a rainfall shower in our room which was fantastic.
Their WiFi is truly magnificent, running around 70Mbs/10Mbs if I recall which is more than enough to do most tasks. That was a pleasant experience when I wanted to backup all my phones photos before I travelled!!
Liked the fact that it is situated right in the heart of Gatwick Airport. Perfect for an overnight stay when you have an early flight the next day.
Great for a couple to share, big comfortable bed, clean and quiet.
Will definitely stay again.

The bed is big an very comfortable and the room was very clean.
However the room is also quite small.
Excellent location in South Terminal, so especially good for early flights! No noticeable aircraft noise. Only thing that could improve it is if tea/coffee were available in the room
View from the room was fantastic. We had a runway view suite. But the room itself was quite small, but clean. I would’ve expected at least basic tea or coffee making facilities for the price I paid. But it was a perfect location to stay for an early flight the next morning.
Despite other positive reviews was disappointed to find the room too small for a couple. The double bed has only access from one side and no room for 2 suitcases. The shower leaked as well as having a shower resulted in the entire bathroom/toilet being wet as there is no shower alcove. No hooks or shelf in the bathroom to keep things dry from showering. The in room check out function also failed. The room air conditioning was set at 20 dec C, we discovered this was the bed cover was so good that you overheated in bed if the room A/C was set to normal. We will be staying elsewhere on our next stopover at Gatwick. This is the first time in 20 years of travelling and staying in wide range of motels and hotels around the world the we have been extremely disappointed like this.
