Aged 18-30, live in London, and speak with a stammer? A University of Birmingham study, looking at reading skills, would like to hear from you! Mahmoud, who is conducting the study, will be in London late-July and will be carrying out testing at City University. Please see the attached info and get in touch if you’d like to take part :)

Our numbers keep growing! Wonderful group meet-up in clinic this evening. We always try to focus on the funny side of stammering and there were definitely lots of laughs tonight 😄 Next group meet-up is scheduled for Weds 16th Jan, get in touch if you’d like to join us!

Have just got back from a week in California where one of my highlights was meeting the very wonderful Nina G! Had a great chat with her about her experiences with speech therapy, her love for comedy, and current accessibility issues and how they differ between the UK and the US.

Great first meet-up last night at the Bloomsbury Stammering Centre! Turned out to be just guys, so there was a distinctly male-centric focus on the conversation. Eye-opening stuff!
Next group will be 14th November, a couple of my female clients have already confirmed their attendance at that one so will be nice to see how the conversation flows with a bit more gender balance :)

It was great to meet with Nitin Gantra - aka Masood from Eastenders - this week at the clinic to discuss stammering for research into a new character he's developing!
