NASA Launches Solar Probe Mission to Kiss the Sun!
On August the 12th NASA's Parker Solar Probe was launched. The Parker Solar Probe is set to fly faster than any other craft and will fly through the sun's atmosphere.
The measurements that the probe will take there will give scientists information about the inner workings of Earths sun.

NASA wants you to build your own Mars Rover!
The Curiosity Mars Rover cost billions but according to NASA, you could 'DIY' a scaled-down version at home using off-the-shelf parts for around £1900!
It is very unlikely that your homemade Rovers would survive Mars but by making the Mars Rover plans open-source and asking the public to build their own units, NASA hopes to inspire the creation of a fleet of Rovers.

On the 3rd of August NASA announced the nine US astronauts, that will crew the first human launches from the United States since 2011.
