Staff lovely if inexperienced, food quite poor for price. Well return, but not hurrying back

Have been a few times now and love it - will try to visit again when we are back in the area

Always good food, and good service. The have a limited menu, but there is something for everyone.

I visited the Blue Boar on Wednesday with friends. My four friends meals were very good . I had ordered
A Caesar salad which I must say was not very good at all. Hardly any sauce, when I asked for more I was
Given a tiny dish with mayonnaise . I left most of it and told the waitress, she just said very sorry.
My desert was delicious .
I feel if the person who made the salad does not know how, then don't put it on the menu.
