The founding of Blue Collar represents not just my time in private business, but also my 14 years in the public sector (12 years police, 2 years NHS) where I practised critical decision making, often in stressful and hostile environments; team management and delegation; communication, negotiation and bargaining; and ultimately the taking and owning of responsibility. In both the private and public sector I've experienced mistakes and learnt from my own. Starting and running a business is always a daunting prospect and making mistakes is one of an owner's biggest fears. We'll navigate this together.
