We would like to tell you about John Hunsley, the husband of Janice Hunsley, who worked at Blue Cross Grimsby animal hospital for more than 40 years. She was a much-loved and respected member of the team and spent decades caring for pets in the area. We were devastated when Janice passed away last year following a long and difficult illness.
In memory of his wife, John will be running the Marathon des Sables, a six-day ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert in Morocco to raise money for Blue Cross. Described as “the toughest footrace on earth”, John is running this multi-day marathon to help him cope with losing his beloved wife and to celebrate her legacy.
