... Admission is a donation to The Blue Cross and our parking attendants all have buckets to collect all donations.

Don’t forget to submit your photos for our virtual cat show! You can enter online by commenting on our pinned post at the top of our Facebook page and donating the entry fee via justgiving – info included about how to do this on our pinned post. Online entries will close TONIGHT AT 10PM or you can bring a photo to our open day this Sunday (19th).
There are classes to suit everypawdy and lots of goodies up for grabs – each class winner will receive a prize bundle i...ncluding toys, treats, fishing rod toy and a blanket lovingly hand knitted by one of our volunteers.
The best in show winner will receive a prize bundle with wicker bed, cardboard scratching mat, treat ball, toys, fishing rod toy, treats and a hand knitted blanket.

After 70 years of helping Hertfordshire’s homeless and unwanted pets, our Blue Cross rehoming centre at Kimpton Bottom is long overdue an upgrade and we’re excited to announce that in June 2019, we will be getting just that! The building works will start this summer, with us due to reopen in August 2020. During this time, our centre will be closed as the dog kennels, cat kennels, main reception area and a handful of buildings will be upgraded to bring them up to modern welfar...e standards.
During the build, our contact number will remain active with our dedicated team of staff and volunteers running a streamlined rehoming service via our Home Direct scheme. This means that pets will be rehomed straight from their current home into their new home without the need to go into kennels.

We're very excited about hosting our annual Dog Show plus, for the first time ever, a Virtual Cat Show! 🐕🐈
For our Virtual Cat Show you can either bring along a picture of your feline friend on the day or, if you're unable to join us, you can submit one under the pinned post at the top of our Facebook page and still enter 😁

If you are unable to attend our open day you can still enter our virtual cat show!

There's only just over a week to go until our open day and we're super excited! 😁

Little Dottie is an extremely affectionate girl who just loves being around people! She loves cuddles on the sofa, walks and squeaky toys.
