Young Matt Goodge has joined us on work experience & has worked with such enthusiasm & diligence. A top Chef to watch out for the future to be sure. He’s also a lovely lad. He’s even created his own dish which we now have on as a Special. “Hoi Sin chicken Skewers”. Going down a storm. Bravo Matt 👏 💙🎹

Visited Blue Joanna for the first time last night, this place is a gem. Delicious interesting food, good drinks, and the service was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back.

The Blue Joanna is an amazing bar and restaurant! We visited at the weekend and met Ecky and his crew who made us feel so welcome. The food is out of this world and the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and inviting. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit when you’re in the area. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for a fab evening.

Perfect place, so much to like. Drinks, food and live music. Above all true hospitality, something that’s so hard to find. Don’t take my word, go and enjoy it for yourself.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was sensational. The staff were wonderful, so friendly, attentive and sweet. A definite recommendation. We don’t live in Norwich but come about 4 times a month. We always end up eating in the city centre but this was a gem of a find and we will certainly be back. Great live music too which just added to the an all over excellent experience.

Me and my friend booked a table last Saturday night and we are so glad we did. The place was packed, full of atmosphere and top marks for the delicious food, incredibly polite and friendly waitress who served us all night and brilliant live, acoustic music. Will certainly be going again.

Lovely staff, fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The sweet potato fries with bonito mayo are absolutely gorgeous! They also have a really nice loo (very important).

Love this place!! The food is incredible, atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed, even when it's packed... The only downside is that the chocolate pannacotta was removed from the menu and we're gutted �

Great service, clean on point restaurant, really interesting menu that delivers on taste, quality and freshness. Loved everything especially the desserts. My only one very teeny grip would be the 2 blue tacos don't offer as much value at £8 as the other delicious generous sides and bites on the menu but totally delicious and shouldn't be missed but grab a few sides especially the sweet potato fries.

Came for the first time last night to see my friend Lydia sing.. the venue was small and cosy was lovely.. the atmosphere was lovely.. staff very friendly.. drinks and food were spot on.. what did it for me was I got to use a toilet everyone else uses.. not in a weird way but I’m paralysed and wheelchair bound.. so knowing I didn’t have to go to a different one made me feel United.. it’s the small things.. toilet was a perfect size.. had all the grab bars & doors were easily moved to open. Overall I will deff be back :) thanks for making my evening very nice, x

Brilliant food and atmosphere. We had a a bit of everything and it was all top quality and cooked beautifully. Great cocktails too and the staff were friendly and attentive. Book to avoid disappointment!

.. this place is really a little gem.. brilliant atmosphere.. very busy but staff work very hard to ensure your happy.. very good prices and staff advise on food portions we nearly ordered too much!.. perfect ending to wonderful food was a lovely singer Lydia Lea.. we will be back!.. thank you

Went for a meal with friends - very attentive staff but not pushy - food was very good and although the belly pork not crispy as described but taken off bill and was offered a replacement immediately- that's great service . I'm not keen on open kitchens as I feel makes the restaurant smoky but that's just me ! Prices reasonable- would have liked someone to have played the piano instead of piped music but hey it was a Tuesday !
