Enjoyable place to visit, lots to see, lots of information given and various talks throughout the day. Great to watch the fish and sharks being fed and the underwater tunnel through the main tank. Can be a little pricey on entrance fees, to save some money buy your tickets online before you visit.

Brilliant aquarium with walk through tunnels under the main tank. Talks by staff were fun and informative. However it is an expensive day out for a family of 4.

Very good place to take grandchildren. Tanks are easy to see with many different fish. Show was entertaining and seeing divers swimming with sharks was fascinating. Tunnel in main tank was brilliant. You could see sharks and rays close up.

Great variety, well presented. A more personal experience than other any aquariums we have attended. The free-form route layout permits age-appropriate exploration, allowing children to linger according to interest, inviting curiosity and a sense of "togetherness" with nature. (No "conveyor belt" of impatient voyeurs shoving you from behind!) Well worth travelling 80 miles just for this, especially on a rainy day.

What a great place for families and groups alike or even as I did just my daughter and I. We loved exploring all the areas which are clearly signed. The inside is decorated like an exotic tropical forest where you can see all the fish, frogs and other underwater creatures. There is a tunnel through which you travel on a moving floor and overhead you can see all the fish and sharks. There's a large restaurant for snacks and drinks. Staff are really informative and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Blue Planet Aquarium is a great way to spend a couple of hours of your weekend! Packed with Exotic Marine Life. The Staff are friendly and egar to answer questions. Upon entering you'll receive a day guide, which gives times of activities that are on during the day. For example, Ottor Feeding, or watching divers enter the tank and feed the fish) Overall a pleasurable experience that is sure to feed your curiosity!

Went for an afternoon out with my partner on Easter Monday. It was busy of course but fine walking around, the attractions are still interesting and beautiful if a little small, you pass through each section rather quickly. Biggest downside is by far the restaurant which is painfully slow. Half an hour wait for my partner to get two bags of chips and two drinks with the few staff seemingly to try and juggle a huge queue and several stations between about three of them. Food is also very expensive which coupled with expensive entry prices (£30 for 2 students) makes it a mostly enjoyable but pricey way to kill a few hours on a cold day but not worth a long trip out. Used to be far better managed and sadly seems to have gone a little downhill.

The aquariums were good but the place isn't huge so don't expect to spend longer than a couple of hours here, which makes it quite an expensive activity.

Excellent aquarium, fun for all the family. Best aquarium in the country. Sea life has nothing on this place
